Image forming apparatus and non-transitory computer readable medium
An image forming apparatus includes an image forming unit, an output unit, a light source, and a processor. The image forming unit creates a printed material by forming an image on paper. The output unit outputs the printed material to an output tray. The light source is provided such that lit light is viewable from outside the image forming apparatus. The processor is configured to receive a print job for creating the printed material by the image forming unit, and perform control such that the light source is lit in a first lighting pattern in a case where a printed material of a print job for a single user has been output to the output tray and the light source is lit in a second lighting pattern in a case where printed materials of print jobs for multiple users have been output to the output tray.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus determines an inclination amount corresponding to an inclination angle of a leading edge of an original document in a conveyance direction, and determines the length of the original document in the conveyance direction. The image reading apparatus sets a first value as a set value in a case that the length of the original document is a first length and sets a second value larger than the first value as the set value in a case that the length of the original document is a second length shorter than the first length. If the inclination amount is smaller than the set value, inclination correction for correcting the image represented by the image data is performed such that the inclination amount is reduced, and if the inclination amount is larger than the set value, the inclination correction is not performed.
IMAGE READING DEVICE, IMAGE READING METHOD, NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER READABLE PROGRAM, AND IMAGE FORMATION DEVICE
It is intended to allow whether or not a noise included in a read image is a noise due to an ink ejection failure to be more reliably determined. An image reading device includes an image reading unit that reads an image formation surface of paper by using a reducing optical system and a control unit. The image reading unit includes a plurality of read sensors disposed at positions displaced from each other in a main scanning direction. The plurality of read sensors are disposed to be able to read the image formation surface by using at least a local region of the image formation surface as a common region to be read. The control unit determines, based on a first image obtained by a first read sensor included in the plurality of read sensors and on a second image obtained by a second read sensor included in the plurality of read sensors, an amount of displacement of a noise resulting from a parallax between the first read sensor and the second read sensor and determines, based on the amount of displacement, whether or not the noise is present on the image formation surface.
Image reading apparatus and image forming apparatus
An image reading apparatus including: an angle detector configured to detect a first state in which a pressure plate is at a first angle with respect to a transparent member and a second state in which the pressure plate is at a second angle smaller than the first angle; a size determiner configured to determine a size of the original in a main scanning direction based on a reading result of a reader; and a controller configured to switch a first size determination mode in which a light source is turned on when a waiting state in which an angle of the pressure plate is larger than the first angle is changed to the first state, and a second size determination mode in which the light source is tuned on when the first state is changed to the second state.

DOCUMENT PLACEMENT DETECTING DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A document placement detecting device includes a document table, a plate, a plurality of invisible light sources, an imaging device, and circuitry. The document table transmits light. The plate is openable and closable relative to the document table, and covers the document table in a closed state of the plate. The plurality of invisible light sources irradiate a placement area with invisible light via the document table. The placement area is an area of the document table on which a document is placed. The imaging device receives reflected light from the document, and outputs read data. The circuitry detects the placement of the document with a change in a read value of the read data output from the imaging device based on the irradiation with the invisible light.
MEDIUM FEEDING DEVICE AND IMAGE READING APPARATUS
A medium feeding device includes a medium placing portion, a feeding roller that feeds paper, a medium movement detecting portion that is positioned on a placing region of the paper of the medium placing portion in a medium feeding direction and is capable of detecting movement of the paper being fed in a width direction intersecting the medium feeding direction, and a controller that stops feeding of the paper in a case in which a physical quantity relating to movement of paper in the width direction exceeds a predetermined threshold based on a detected result by the medium movement detecting portion.
Medium feeding device and image reading apparatus

Image reading device and method for controlling image reading device
On the basis of first read image data obtained by reading a first face, a controller calculates a first sub scanning size, which is a size of the first face in a sub scanning direction. On the basis of second read image data obtained by reading a second face, the controller calculates a second sub scanning size, which is a size of the second face in the sub scanning direction. The controller determines the larger of the first sub-scanning size and the second sub-scanning direction size to a definitive sub scanning size, which is the size of the document in the sub scanning direction set on the document stage.
