Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a transport unit which transports a document, and reading units which read an image of the document which is transported. It is assumed that an operation of reading an image when specific setting information is not input to a control device of the image reading apparatus is set to a first reading mode, and an operation of reading an image when specific setting information is input to the control device is set to a second reading mode. In this case, in the second reading mode, image data of an image with a resolution which is equal to that in the first reading mode is generated, while causing the reading units to read an image from a document which is transported by the transport device at a lower speed than that in the first reading mode.
IMAGE DISPLAY OPERATION DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS INCLUDING THE IMAGE DISPLAY OPERATION DEVICE
An image forming apparatus includes a document reader, a storage for storing image data, an image output unit and a control unit. The control unit includes: a function setup controller for setting up the image output conditions of output images; and a control-unit side controller having a function of displaying a function setup screen corresponding to the function setup controller, on a display panel. The function setup controller has an additional input mode having a function of reading documents a multiple number of times to form multiple sheaves of documents. The additional input mode includes: an individual setup function of setting up individual image output conditions for each sheaf of documents and an all-in setup function of setting up identical image output conditions for all sheaves of documents. When the additional input mode is set up, the control unit-side controller offers a display of a setup change suggestion of the image output conditions for the next input on the display screen at the stage where the first image data input has been completed.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM THAT PERFORMS READING AND TRANSMITTING PROCESS OF ORIGINAL IMAGE, METHOD OF CONTROLLING IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing system which makes it possible to prevent an erroneous operation from being performed by an improper user. A console section of an MFP receives an operation from a user. A scanner reads an original to generate image data. A modem transmits the image data. A network interface receives an instruction for a reading and transmitting process for causing the scanner to read an original and then causing the modem to transmit image data generated by the scanner. When the instruction for the reading and transmitting process is received, a controller determines, based on a state of operation of the console section, whether or not the reading and transmitting process can be accepted. When acceptance of the reading and transmitting process is permitted as a result of the determination, the controller controls the scanner and the modem to perform the reading and transmitting process.
INSPECTION SYSTEM FOR INSPECTING IMAGE FORMED ON SHEET, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An inspection system displays a setting screen for setting content of image inspection, sets an area in which an image to be formed is changed for each sheet as a variable area in the setting screen, and executes the image inspection according to a condition set in the setting screen. The system presents a candidate area in which the image inspection is to be performed as the variable area in the setting screen, before the variable area is set by an input device.
Image-reading device having configurable multi-mode illumination and monochrome, color image capture and related methods comprising a plurality of light sources that emit red light or emit white light from multiple white light portions separated by a portion of ambient light
An image-reading device, such as optical code readers used in retail environments to scan objects, is configured to select from various operational modes. The operational modes are selected based on an application of the image-reading device, such as optical code identification or image recognition. Red, white, and other color light sources are activated in patterns corresponding to an illumination sequence of the selected operational mode, while imagers are activated to capture an image based on an exposure pattern of the selected operational mode. Further, a repeating series of light pulses having different portions of light is provided. Various imagers are configured to capture images over one of the portions. This allows an operator to perceive one continuous light pattern, yet allows various imagers to capture an image under different light conditions used for different applications of the image-reading device.
COLOR ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM, COLOR ADJUSTMENT METHOD, AND COLOR ADJUSTMENT APPARATUS
A color adjustment system includes circuitry to register job data for requesting printing a document file in a memory, register color sample data associated with the job data in the memory, cause a printing apparatus to print out the document file corresponding to the job data as a first printed matter, cause a reading apparatus to read the first printed matter to acquire first read image data, and generate an input profile based on the first read image data and the color sample data.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
Example embodiments of the present disclosure include image processing apparatus installed with a web browser that includes circuitry and an image processing device. The circuitry interprets content obtained from a web server connected to the image processing apparatus via a network, displays a screen based on the interpreted content, requests the web server to process according to a user input on the displayed screen, and requests the image processing device to perform predetermined image processing.
Image forming apparatus, guide providing method thereof, cloud server, and error analyzing method thereof
An image forming apparatus, guide providing method thereof, cloud server and error analyzing method thereof are provided. The image forming apparatus may include a scanner configured to scan a script and generate a scan image, a communicator configured to communicate with a cloud server, a display configured display a screen, and a processor configured to control the communicator to transmit the generated scan image to a cloud server, and in response to receiving an error solution guide of the scan image from the cloud server, control the display to display the received error solution guide.
Image processing apparatus for reading and printing a document image, control method for the image processing apparatus, and storage medium
In one embodiment, a control method for an image processing apparatus including a reading unit configured to read a document image and a printing unit configured to print the document image read by the reading unit is provided. The control method includes detecting an error in process of reading by the reading unit, causing the reading unit to perform reread processing for rereading the document image based on the error being detected, and refraining, in a case where the image processing apparatus operates in a mode in which the printing unit starts printing without waiting for the reading unit to complete reading a document image, from causing the reading unit to perform the reread processing based on the error being detected.
IMAGE PROCESSING FOR SELECTION OF AN ARRANGEMENT ORDER BASED ON FEATURE INFORMATION
In accordance with an embodiment, an image processing apparatus comprises a scanner, an image data memory, a feature information acquisition section, an arrangement order determination section and an arrangement order change section. The scanner reads a plurality of sheets. The image data memory stores image data of each sheet read by the scanner. The feature information acquisition section acquires feature information indicating a feature of each of the sheets on the basis of the image data. The arrangement order determination section determines an arrangement order of the sheets on the basis of the feature information and order information indicating an arrangement of the sheets. The arrangement order change section rearranges the image data stored in the image data memory on the basis of the arrangement order determined by the arrangement order determination section.
