An image forming device includes: an image forming unit that forms an image on a transfer medium; and a controller that controls multiple image readers capable of performing image reading for the same surface of the transfer medium, and acquires reading results from the image readers. The controller is capable of performing failure/no-failure determination for the image on the transfer medium based on the reading results, of switching image reading by the multiple image readers between reading by a first number of image readers and reading by a second number of image readers, the second number being smaller than the first number, and of enabling, while the second number of image readers perform reading, at least one of the other image readers to execute a maintenance operation for the at least one of the other image readers.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS, IMAGE READING APPARATUS, AND RECORDING APPARATUS
An electronic apparatus includes a power switch element configured to switch on and off power supply, a power-source supply controller configured to request an external apparatus for the power supply when coupling with the external apparatus is established, and a power switch configured to switch on and off the power switch element. The power-source supply controller includes an output unit configured to switch from a first state to a second state when the coupling with the external apparatus is established. The electronic apparatus includes a power controlling switch element between the power switch element and the output unit, the power controlling switch element being configured to keep the power switch element off by remaining off until the power switch is operated when the output unit is in the second state and the power switch element is off.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS CAPABLE OF SUPPRESSING DISAPPEARANCE OF CORRECTION TRACE WHEN GENERATING ELECTRONIC DOCUMENT FROM DOCUMENT, CONTROL METHOD FOR IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A mechanism capable of suppressing the disappearance of a correction trace is provided. An MFP includes a scanner unit that reads a document and obtains read image data, a data processing unit that converts the color of pixels having a brightness equal to or greater than a threshold value into white, and an operation unit capable of performing at least user operations regarding the scanner unit and the data processing unit. When a CPU of the MFP determines that a first predetermined operation has been performed, the CPU sets a reading mode of the scanner unit to a second reading mode in which the document is read under a darker condition than a first reading mode, sets the threshold value to a second threshold value that is greater than a first threshold value, and disables a change of the second reading mode and a change of the second threshold value.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND DISPLAY CONTROL METHOD
According to an embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes: a job executor which executes a job according to a mode; a storage which stores, as history information, a setting history of the job; a display which allows a reception image, which receives an instruction to call the history information that has been stored, to be displayed; and a controller which performs, during execution of the job, display control of the reception image according to the mode.
Image reading apparatus caused to read a holding member placed on a reading area, the holding member holding receipts and extracting edges of the receipts from a single read image
An image reading apparatus includes a transparent member having a placement surface on which a document is to be placed, a reading unit configured to read an image of the document placed on the transparent member via the transparent member, and a reading mode in which an image of a document, placed in a holding member with a transparent portion, is read. The document to be read is placed in the holding member so as to be visible via the transparent portion and the holding member is placed on the placement surface with the transparent portion of the holding member in contact with the placement surface. A processor detects an edge in an image acquired by the reading unit in the reading mode, and to extract an image surrounded by an edge detected in an area surrounded by an edge corresponding to the holding member in the reading mode.
Information processing apparatus, non-transitory computer readable medium storing program, and information processing method that set fixing device to different states based on property of image forming device
An information processing apparatus includes a processor configured to set a state of a fixing device in a case where a state of an image forming apparatus including the fixing device transitions to a power saving state to be different depending on a property of the imaging forming apparatus.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE, IMAGE READING DEVICE, NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER-READABLE PROGRAM, IMAGE FORMING METHOD, AND IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE
INSPECTION SYSTEM, INSPECTION APPARATUS AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME
The printing apparatus prints on a print medium based on print image data to generate a printed material and transmits/receives the print image data and print settings information of the print image data. The inspection apparatus receives the print image data and the print settings information, generates a reference image using the print image data and the print settings information, registers the generated reference image, stores settings information for inspecting the printed material, and performs an inspection of the printed material on a basis of the settings information, a scanned image of an image printed on the printed material and a reference image corresponding to the scanned image. In the inspection, if the settings information includes a predetermined setting, the inspection apparatus inspects a scanned image corresponding to a blank using a predetermined reference image.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
