CONTROL DEVICE FOR USER AUTHENTICATION, IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A control device includes a wireless communication section, a detection section that detects a user's approach, an acquisition section that acquires authentication information and authority information regarding a user of a terminal when receiving a request from the terminal by the wireless communication section, and a control section that controls a processing section of an information processing apparatus so that a function corresponding to the acquired authority information is realized when the approach of the user of the terminal is detected by the detection section.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
An information processing system includes a verification unit and an execution unit. The verification unit verifies biometric information acquired from users against preregistered reference information. The execution unit executes a process based on the number of times biometric information has been verified on a user basis in a predetermined period by the verification unit.
System and method for document delivery
The direct marketing system and method is disclosed that receives information from two parties, referred to as the sending party and the receiving party, and delivers a message or advertisement between the two. The message is then immediately printed on the receiving party's printer, and a small fee is paid by the sending party. A portion of this fee is sent to the receiving party as reimbursement for paper costs, ink costs, and printer maintenance.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM
An image processing apparatus includes: a display unit configured to display an operation screen; an acquisition unit configured to acquire biological information of a user performing operation using the operation screen, the biological information varying reflecting a state of the user; and a registration control unit configured to control operation of registering information on the operation screen and the biological information of the user in association with each other.
IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM, METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
An image processing system includes a reception unit that receives an image forming instruction from a user, a retaining unit that retains the image forming instruction in association with the user, an acceptance unit that accepts an execution instruction from the user, an authentication unit that performs authentication of the user, and an image forming unit that executes the image forming instruction retained by the retaining unit in association with the authenticated user without accepting the execution instruction by the acceptance unit in a case where the authentication unit completes the authentication.
TOKENS TO ACCESS APPLICATIONS FROM A MULTI-FUNCTION DEVICE SIGN-ON
A method is disclosed. For example, the method executed by a processor of a multi-function device (MFD) includes receiving a request to access an application on the MFD that requires a user authentication, retrieving a token associated with the user and the application, providing the token to the application for the user authentication, and executing the application on the MFD after the user authentication is executed with the token.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD, AND MEDIUM
An image forming apparatus operable to accept a login of a user by an input of medium information stored in a storage medium or an input via a user interface is provided. The apparatus comprises a storage to store account information that includes user identification information of a registered user and can further include the medium information associated with the user; a reader to read the medium information from the storage medium; a user interface to display a screen and accept an input; and a controller configured to accept a login by a user, wherein the controller, in a case where, at the time of a login of a user via the user interface, the medium information associated with a corresponding user is not registered, registers, in association with the corresponding user, the medium information inputted by the reader.
Universal secure imaging workflow
Embodiments disclosed include systems and methods for computer automated print services control comprising authenticating a user credential input via a user device. The system and method includes generating, by a printer driver comprised in the user device, a user interface comprising features supported by a plurality of printing devices. Further, it includes receiving via the user device over the network, a print instruction comprising the features supported by the plurality of printing devices connected to the computer system over the network. And based on the print instruction, generating a print job in an embodiment. Further, based on the user authentication at one of the plurality of printing devices, converting via a gateway, the received print instruction into a format compatible with that printing device and releasing the generated print job for printing at that printing device, according to an embodiment.
Hallmark-based image capture prevention
A method, computer system, and a computer program product for image protection are provided. A first device includes a computer and a first camera. The first device identifies a picture that has a hallmark. The first device transmits a message requesting authorization to have a copy of the picture. The message contains data representative of the hallmark. The first device receives a response message. The first device determines whether the response message authorizes capture of a copy of the picture.
Methods and systems for managing multiple scan requests based on document presence, user interface activity, and user information
The present disclosure discloses methods and systems for managing multiple scan requests received at a multi-function device. The method includes receiving a scan request from a remote computing device of a remote user. Before executing the scan request, two conditions are checked. It is checked if document is present on a scanning platform of the multi-function device and further it is checked if one or more activities on a user interface of the multi-function device, are being performed. Based on the presence of the document on the scanning platform and the one or more activities on the user interface, the scan request received from the remote user is disallowed. This way, multiple scanned requests are managed at the multi-function device.
