SYSTEM AND METHOD TO VERIFY DATE AND LOCATION FOR THE CREATION OF A VIDEO
A verification system includes: a code generation server publicizing time stamped codes; a proving device, including a video camera, that acquires a published time stamped code from the code generation server, and, while recording a video, incorporates the acquired time stamped code into the video; and a verifying device that receives the video, extracts the time stamped code from the content of the video, compares the time stamped code to published time stamped codes, and displays a verification of the published time stamped code.
Imaging supply memory
In one example, an article for an imaging supply for a printer includes a first memory and a second memory. The first memory stores an indication that a digital signature to authenticate the imaging supply to the printer is stored in the second memory. The second memory stores a digital signature to authenticate the imaging supply to the printer and consumables management data.
IMAGING SUPPLY MEMORY
In one example, an article for an imaging supply for a printer that includes a first memory and a second memory in which the first memory stores an indication that unsigned data or signed data is stored on the second memory and the second memory stores consumables management data to cause the printer to define at least one of a yield, a low point, and an out point of the imaging supply.
Imaging supply for a printer
In one example, an imaging supply includes a container to contain an imaging material, a first memory on the container, and a second memory on the container different from the first memory. The first memory stores an indication that signed data is stored in the second memory and the second memory stores a digital signature to authenticate the imaging supply to a printer or an indication that unsigned data is stored in the second memory and the second memory stores consumables management data or an indication that no data is stored in the second memory.
Notifying unauthorized use of electronic device during disconnection time period of electronic device from network
A device management apparatus for notifying unauthorized use of an electronic device includes a connection status detecting circuit, a usage log acquiring circuit, and a notification circuit. The connection status detecting circuit detects a connection status of the electronic device to a network. The usage log acquiring circuit acquires a usage log of the electronic device. The notification circuit notifies an unauthorized use of the electronic device. The notification circuit notifies the unauthorized use if the usage logs acquired by the usage log acquiring circuit before and after a time period of disconnection of the electronic device from the network are varied, a reconnection of the electronic device to the network being detected by the connection status detecting circuit.

IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD
An image processing apparatus comprises a camera, a reading unit, a memory unit and a control unit. The camera acquires an image of a portion of a user's body to generate image data of the user. The reading unit reads the image on a sheet to generate image data for the sheet. The control unit determines, according to the image data of the sheet and specific image data, whether or not the sheet read by the reading unit is a sheet the image of which is prohibited to be copied and stores the image data of the sheet and the image data of the user in the memory unit after determining that the sheet is a sheet the image of which is prohibited to be copied.
Security compliance checking of documents
The disclosed embodiments provide for checking documents for security compliance when the documents are printed, scanned, or copied. A security status is determined based on security indicators within a document's content. Security indicators can be located within a document's text, figures, watermarks, security marks, and invisible marks. Security indicators can be found by comparing a document's content to a set of stored indicator descriptions. The indicators found are used to determine a document score and security responses are triggered based on the document score.
