The image forming apparatus includes an apparatus controller, an image forming unit, and an apparatus power supply. The apparatus power supply is configured to generate a control voltage that is supplied to the apparatus controller and an apparatus drive voltage that is supplied to the image forming unit. The option device includes a drive load, an option power supply, an option controller, and a detector. The option controller is configured to control the option power supply and receive the control voltage supplied from the apparatus power supply, via the power supply line. The detector is configured to transmit a detection signal to the option controller, the detection signal from among a plurality of different detection signals corresponding to operation statuses of the option power supply.
Image forming apparatus capable of performing wireless communication with mobile terminal
Disclosed is an image forming apparatus that includes: a detecting unit configured to detect a user approaching the image forming apparatus; a communication unit configured to be capable of receiving the job from a mobile terminal via short-range wireless communication; and a controlling unit that controls a power supply such that electric power is supplied from the power supply to a first device and a second device in response to detection of the user by the detecting unit, and controls the power supply such that in response to designation of a job from the mobile terminal via the short-range wireless communication, the power supply continues supply of the electric power to the first device that is used for executing the designated job and the power supply stops supply of the electric power to the second device that is not used for executing the designated job.
Communication apparatus and control method therefor
Provided is a communication apparatus including: a first communication portion configured to perform wireless communications with an external apparatus based on a Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme; and a first determiner configured to determine whether an auto power-on function of powering on the communication apparatus under a predetermined condition even when the communication apparatus is in a powered-off state is set to be enabled, wherein, when the first determiner determines that the auto power-on function is set to be enabled, the first communication portion disconnects connection to the external apparatus, which has been established based on the Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme, in response to a power-off instruction, and transmits advertising information that allows a response based on the Bluetooth Low Energy communication scheme to be received.
Information processing device for registering and displaying a character string. and information processing method and storage medium thereof
According to at least one embodiment of the present disclosure, when no user operation has been performed for a set period, an information processing device is caused to transition to a sleep mode including stopping display on a display unit. However, the information processing device is controlled to not transition to the sleep mode until a slideshow currently being displayed on the display unit, ends, in a case where the slideshow has been started.
CONTROL PANEL, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND NON-TRANSITORY RECORDING MEDIUM
A control panel, an image forming apparatus, and a non-transitory recording medium. The control panel determines whether a contact operation performed on the operation screen in an energy saving mode in which power supply to a part of the control panel is stopped, is a contact operation for instructing a return from the energy saving mode to a normal mode for operating the device, or a contact operation for cleaning the touch panel, based on a determination that the contact operation is a contact operation for instructing the return to the normal mode, displays the operation screen and return the device to an operating state, and based on a determination that the contact operation is a contact operation for cleaning foreign material on the touch panel, maintains a non-display state of the operation screen.
Non-transitory computer-readable medium storing computer-readable instructions that cause processor of print image control device to set print position, print image control device that sets print position, and control method of print image control device that sets print position
Provided are a non-transitory computer-readable medium, a print image control device, and a control method of the print image control device capable of reducing time required for an operation to adjust a position of a print image, and of improving productivity. A CPU performs part specification command input processing in which a command is input to specify a part of a photographic image captured by a camera, characteristic identification processing that identifies a characteristic of fabric on the basis of the command input by the part specification command input processing, generated graphic generation processing that generates a generated graphic relating to the characteristic identified by the characteristic identification processing, and display control processing that controls a display such that the generated graphic generated by the generated graphic generation processing is displayed along with the photographic image and a print image.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS, AND INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
An image processing apparatus includes: a first controller including first control circuitry and first power supply control circuitry; and a second controller including second control circuitry and second power supply control circuitry. The first control circuitry controls an image former. The second control circuitry controls an external interface. In a case where power supply to the first control circuitry and the second control circuitry except for general-purpose input-and-output ports is stopped in a power saving mode, when detecting a factor of recovery from the saving mode, the second power supply control circuitry powers on the second control circuitry though a general-purpose input-and-output port and notifies the first power supply control circuitry of the recovery though a general-purpose input-and-output port, and when receiving notification of the recovery from the second power supply control circuitry, the first power supply control circuitry powers on the first control circuitry though a general-purpose input-and-output port.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD OF IMAGE READING APPARATUS
There is provided an image reading apparatus in which a low output mode is a mode that can be controlled in a coupling state where a low power-feeding USB device is coupled, a high output mode is a mode that can be controlled in a coupling state where a high power-feeding USB device capable of feeding power higher than the low power-feeding USB device is coupled, and a control section does not perform image reading at a second reading speed faster than a first reading speed and performs image reading at the first reading speed in the low output mode.
