Image forming apparatus and non-transitory computer readable recording medium for improved email printing
An image forming apparatus, comprises: a receiving part for receiving an email at a predetermined time; a print outputting part for producing a printed output of data contained in the received email; a stop controlling part for temporarily suspending the receiving process by the receiving part or the process to produce the printed output by the print outputting part; a determining part for receiving an input of instruction information specifying a processing to process the received email and determining the processing to process the received email in accordance with the input instruction information while the stop controlling part is temporarily suspending the process; and an email processing part for performing the processing determined by the determining part to process the received email while the process is being temporarily suspended by the stop controlling part or after the temporary suspension by the stop controlling part is cancelled.
Job processing apparatus, method for controlling job processing apparatus, and storage medium
A method for controlling a job processing apparatus includes determining, when an instruction is issued to input a job by a voice that is input via a voice receiving unit, whether there is another job being executed. If the determining determines that the other job is being executed, an inquiry is made of a user about whether to interrupt the other job to execute the input job or to execute the input job without interrupting the other job.
JOB PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD FOR CONTROLLING JOB PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
According to the fact that a user logs out and then logs in again, a selection screen is displayed. Based on the fact that a selection is made through the selection screen to set, as setting information of a job, setting information stored in association with identification information of the user having logged in again, the setting information stored in association with the identification information of the user is set as setting information of the job.
Image forming apparatus capable of properly reproducing desired settings, method of controlling the same, and storage medium
An image forming apparatus capable of properly reproducing, even when a setting operation is interrupted by a cause unintended by a user, settings desired by the user, and thereby improving the user-friendliness. In a case where a cause of interruption of a job setting operation is generated at a timing other than a predetermined timing, information on the displayed screen and information on the job settings are stored. When the cause of interruption has been removed, the stored screen information and information on job settings are read out, and the interrupted state of the job setting operation is reproduced.
SYSTEM AND METHOD ENABLING RESETTING OF A COUNTER ASSOCIATED WITH A COMPONENT OF AN IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are provided. Some embodiments include receiving, at a computing system from an image processing device, a request to access a resource. The computing system obtains information that identifies a component installed on the image processing device as a replacement component. The computing system obtains information indicating a count value of a counter associated with the component. The computing system determines whether the counter has been reset based on the information indicating the count value of the counter. In response to determining that the counter has not been reset, the computing system sends, to the image processing device, the resource including information for presentation as an interface element in a graphical user interface on a display of the image processing device, the interface element enabling a user to reset the counter by selecting the interface element.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
An image forming apparatus includes a fuser, a detection sensor, a user interface, a memory, and a controller. The fuser is configured to fix an image formed in toner on a sheet thereon. The fuser is attached to a body of the image forming apparatus and is replaceable. The controller is configured to update usage data stored in the memory according to usage of the fuser. After the detection sensor detects the fuser not being attached to the body of the image forming apparatus, in response to the detection sensor detecting the fuser being attached to the body, the controller is configured to control the user interface to display a query screen concerning replacement of the fuser. In response to a replying operation to the query screen by a user, the controller is configured to update the usage data with content concerning a replacing new fuser.
IMAGE INSPECTION SYSTEM, INSPECTION DEVICE, INSPECTION METHOD, AND COMPUTER-READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM
An image inspection system includes: an image former; and a hardware processor that acquires a read image obtained by reading an image formed on the recording medium, wherein the hardware processor: inspects the read image, receives an interruption job, and interrupts inspection and image formation of the job being executed when the interruption job is received during execution of the job.
Image forming apparatus capable of forming combinable images on separate sheets
An image forming apparatus, having a medium storage, a medium conveyer, an image forming device, a user input interface, and a controller, is provided. The controller operates the image forming device and the medium conveyer to perform a first action to form an image composed of image data in an area on a sheet-formed medium from one side of the image in a lengthwise direction, which corresponds to the predetermined conveying direction. On a condition where the first action is aborted, the controller operates the image forming device and the medium conveyer to perform a second action to form an image composed of the image data in another area on the sheet-formed medium different from the area in which the image was formed in the first action until a time point instructed by input from a user accepted through the user input interface.
Information processing apparatus, information processing system, and method for information processing apparatus
A configuration is provided in which in a case where a user operation is performed on an image forming apparatus or a data processing apparatus while the image forming apparatus and the data processing apparatus are operating in cooperation with each other, the automatic clearing timers of both the apparatuses are reset.
