IMAGE CAPTURE UNIT AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM USED IN COMBINATION WITH SAME
An image capture unit and computer readable medium used in combination therewith. The image capture unit includes an image capturing sensor, a visual display, an instance of the computer readable medium, and circuitry for integrating functionalities thereof. The computer readable medium causes sensor data received from the image capturing sensor to be processed. The sensor data includes a plurality of image tiles and position indicating data defining a respective relative position of each one of each image tiles. Each one of each image tiles includes data representing a discrete portion of visual content. The computer readable medium causes a feedback image be displayed on the visual display. Displaying the feedback image includes correlate the relative position of each one of each image tiles with at least one other image tile that has been previously generated and displayed.

IMAGE CAPTURING METHOD
An image capturing method includes steps of providing an image capturing device, obtaining a captured image, a first displacement data and a second displacement data, calculating to obtain an angle deflection data according to the first displacement data and the second displacement data, calculating to obtain a central point real coordinate corresponding to a central point of the image capturing device, calculating to obtain an initial point real coordinate corresponding to an initial point of the captured image and a finish point real coordinate corresponding to a finish point of the captured image, and determining a real coordinate system according to the central point real coordinate, the initial point real coordinate and the finish point real coordinate and correspondingly outputting the captured image with the real coordinate system so as to obtain a corrected terminal image. As a result, the terminal image is similar to the original image.
Image reading apparatus
A image reading apparatus includes a first placement unit, a second placement unit, a first reading unit, a second reading unit, a rotating mechanism, and a switch-over mechanism that switches over the first placement unit and the second placement unit between a horizontal state and an inclined state. The rotating mechanism rotates the first reading unit and the second reading unit, so that, in the horizontal state, the first image reading unit and the second image reading unit read a medium placed on the first placement unit and a medium placed on the second placement unit respectively, and, in the inclined state, the first image reading unit and the second image reading unit read a medium placed on the second placement unit and a medium placed on the first placement unit respectively.

IMAGE CAPTURE METHOD
An image capture method includes steps of providing an image capture device and a medium, performing an image-capturing operation, moving the image capture device along a first direction on the medium, judging whether the image-capturing operation is performed continuously, moving the image capture device along a second direction on the medium, moving the image capture device along a third direction on the medium, judging whether the image-capturing operation is performed continuously, moving the image capture device along a fourth direction on the medium, and finishing the image-capturing operation. Therefore, not only the number of times and the time taken by the image-capturing operation are significantly reduced and a complete image is captured, but also the position information, which is acquired by an optical mouse sensor, is provided for image synthesis, thereby enhancing the efficiency and the quality of image synthesis.

Display device and method of operating and manufacturing the display device
A display device, and a method of operating and manufacturing the display device may receive input light from an object to be scanned that is positioned in front of a display for displaying an image, and may perform scanning of the object to be scanned.
Solo home user skin imaging method, alignment aid, and chromatic filter for detecting growth of early melanomas
An affordable method appropriate even for solo home-users without a partner to image their skin even in areas that they cannot see directly, or photograph. The method uses a device in contact with the skin to create images, and physical aids for consistently aligning the images. This permits comparison with later images to find growing lesions. The purpose includes the early detection of possible pre-melanomas and melanomas so diagnosis and treatment can be sought earlier. The images provide reliable proof of growth, a symptom, for the dermatologist's diagnosis. Alternately, a single set of easily referenced baseline images can be created.
