Image scanning method
An image scanning method applied in an image scanning device capable of scanning a card. Record background values at the time of a card being without being in a scanning channel, and the background values recorded at the time of the card being without being in the scanning channel are regarded as preset values. Before the card is scanned, check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Drive the card to move a distance Y. Check whether the background values in the scanning channel conform to the preset values. Preset a preset movement distance, check whether a movement distance of the card or a distance of accumulated movements of the card exceeds the preset movement distance. Display that the card is stuck. Stop checking and proceeding an image calibration. Start scanning the card. Complete scanning the card and withdraw the card.

IMAGE CAPTURE AND OUTPUT METHOD
An image capture and output method comprises steps of providing an image capture device, continuously capturing a plurality of line images from an initial position and recording a position information corresponded to each line image, calculating the difference between the position information of the first line image and the initial position and the differences between the position information of each of the rest line images and a former one of the line image to obtain a fill information, filling each line image into an image buffer according to the fill information, and outputting the image buffer as a product image. Therefore, the deformation issue is effectively solved, the storage memory is saved, and the manufacturing cost is lowered.
Image reading device with noise removal when cover is open
An image reading device (1) includes a light emission control portion (84), an image scanning portion (11), and a difference data sequence generating portion (852, 853, 855). The difference data sequence generating portion (852, 853, 855) sequentially obtains image data sequences of a linear area both when a light emitting portion is in a light-on state and when the light emitting portion is in a light-off state. In addition, the difference data sequence generating portion (852, 853, 855) sequentially generates difference data sequences (Ys) that are results of subtracting an image data sequence (X2) obtained in a light-off state of the light emitting portion from an image data sequence (X1) obtained in a light-on state of the light emitting portion, among a pair of image data sequences (X1, X2) obtained at each blinking cycle of the light emitting portion.

Positioning module and handheld scanner using the same
The disclosure is related to a positioning module and a handheld scanner using the same. The positioning module includes a base, a rotation support member, a shaft body, a wheel, a first sensor, and a second sensor. The rotation support member is pivoted to the base and rotates relative to the base about the first axis. The shaft body and the wheel are pivotally contacted to the main body and in constant contact with each other. When the wheel is rotated about a second axis due to a frictional force, the main body displace linearly and the shaft body is driven to rotate. Since the second axis is offset by the first axis, the rotation support member is driven to rotate at an angular displacement synchronously. The first and second sensors detect the shaft body and the main body to obtain the linear and angular displacements for positioning.
BARCODE READERS AND COMPONENT ARRANGEMENTS THEREOF
Embodiments of the preset invention include a barcode reader that comprises a housing having a handgrip portion and an upper body portion, a first printed circuit board (PCB) extending into the upper body portion, and an imaging module positioned within the upper body portion. In this instance, the imaging module includes an imaging system having an imager and an imaging lens assembly, the imaging system having a field of view with a central imaging axis passing through a window in the upper body portion and lying on a horizontal plane. The imaging module further includes an aiming light system configured to emit an aiming light pattern, the aiming light system offset from the imaging system along the horizontal plane. Furthermore, the components of the barcode reader are arranged such that the first PCB is positioned at an oblique angle relative to the central imaging axis.
