An imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit, a detection unit that detects orientation of the imaging apparatus, a control unit that implements control such that a still image or a moving image captured by the imaging unit is recorded in a recording medium, a first setting unit that sets whether orientation information based on the orientation detected by the detection unit is recorded together with the still image captured by the imaging unit, and a second setting unit that sets whether the orientation information based on the orientation detected by the detection unit is recorded together with the moving image captured by the imaging unit.
IMAGE CAPTURING APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
An image capturing apparatus comprises an interface configured to connect to an external apparatus, a transmitting unit configured to transmit image data to an external apparatus connected by the interface, a processing unit configured to encode the image data with a predetermined format, a determination unit configured to determine whether or not image data to be encoded by the processing unit includes decoding information for decoding the image data, and a control unit configured to switch, based on the determination result, between processing for transmitting image data encoded by the processing unit and the decoding information to the external apparatus and processing for transmitting an image file in which image data including the decoding information is encoded to the external apparatus.
Image generation apparatus, image generation method, and storage media
The image generation apparatus includes: an acquisition unit configured to acquire a base image, a reference image, the respective exposure values associated with the base image and the reference image, and a pseudo-exposure value different from the respective exposure values associated with the base image and the reference image; an estimation unit configured to estimate a conversion parameter; and a generation unit configured to generate a pseudo-image regarded as an image photographed with the pseudo-exposure value by converting the luminance value of the base image for each of the pixels based on the respective exposure values associated with the base image and the reference image, the pseudo-exposure value, and the conversion parameter.
IMAGE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, WEARABLE DEVICE, IMAGE MANAGEMENT METHOD, AND IMAGE MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
An image management system includes a wearable device including a camera; and an information processing server. The information processing server includes a server storage unit configured to store captured image received from the wearable device. At least one of the wearable device or the information processing server includes an information organization unit. The information organization unit deletes the captured image when an image determination unit determines that the captured image is not a meal image, and the server storage unit holds the captured image when the image determination unit determines that the captured image is the meal image.
Image processing apparatus and control method thereof in which a control circuit outputs a selected image signal via an external device to a signal processing circuit
An image processing apparatus includes a first signal processing circuit that receives image signals from an image sensor and a second signal processing circuit that performs image processing on image signals output from the first signal processing circuit. The first signal processing circuit includes an evaluation circuit that determines evaluation values for image signals, a control circuit that controls an order according to which the image signals are output to the second signal processing circuit, based on the evaluation values, and a selection circuit that selects an image signal for a single frame from among the image signals for a predetermined plural number of frames, based on the evaluation values.
Image processing apparatus, information processing apparatus, image processing method, and information processing method
An image processing apparatus obtains image data and transmits the image data to an external apparatus. The image processing apparatus applies first image processing to the image data and receives a result of second image processing applied in the external apparatus to a part of the image data corresponding to a partial area of an entire image represented by the image data, prior to receiving a result of the second image processing applied in the external apparatus to the entirety of the image data corresponding to the entire image. The image processing apparatus, when causing a display apparatus to display the image data that has been transmitted to the external apparatus, causes the display apparatus to display the image data along with an indicator indicating a status of the second image processing being applied to the image data in the external apparatus.
SERVICE SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND SERVICE PROVIDING METHOD
A service system includes a mobile terminal and an information processing device capable of communication via a network. The mobile terminal includes a first transmission unit that transmits spherical images taken in respective imaging locations and positional information about the imaging locations to the information processing device. The information processing device includes a reception unit that receives the spherical images transmitted by the first transmission unit; a map data obtaining unit that obtains map data from a map data storage, the map data including the imaging locations of the spherical images; a path information creation unit that creates information about a path made by connecting the imaging locations in the map data obtained by the map data obtaining unit; and a content providing unit that makes content available for a request through the network, the content including the map data, the information about the path, and the spherical images.
Techniques to selectively capture visual media using a single interface element
Techniques to selectively capture media using a single user interface element are described. In one embodiment, an apparatus may comprise a touch controller, a visual media capture component, and a storage component. The touch controller may be operative to receive a haptic engagement signal. The visual media capture component may be operative to be configured in a capture mode based on whether a haptic disengagement signal is received by the touch controller before expiration of a first timer, the capture mode one of a photo capture mode or video capture mode, the first timer started in response to receiving the haptic engagement signal, the first timer configured to expire after a first preset duration. The storage component may be operative to store visual media captured by the visual media capture component in the configured capture mode. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
Display control device, imaging device, and display control method
A display control device includes a controller configured to perform control displaying, on a display, whether or not shooting is performed at a shooting rate slower than a predetermined shooting rate, after the shooting starts at the predetermined shooting rate.
Devices and methods for capturing and interacting with enhanced digital images
An electronic device having a camera, while displaying a live preview for the camera, detects activation of a shutter button at a first time. In response, the electronic device acquires, by the camera, a representative image that represents a first sequence of images, and a plurality of images after acquiring the representative image, and also displays an indication in the live preview that the camera is capturing images for the first sequence of images. The electronic device groups images acquired by the camera in temporal proximity to the activation of the shutter button at the first time into the first sequence of images, such that the first sequence of images includes a plurality of images acquired by the camera prior to detecting activation of the shutter button at the first time, the representative image, and the plurality of images acquired by the camera after acquiring the representative image.
