STORING METADATA RELATED TO CAPTURED IMAGES
The present disclosure relates to user-selected metadata related to images captured by a camera of a client device. User-selected metadata may include contextual information and/or information provided by a user when the images are captured. In various implementations, a free form input may be received at a first client device of one or more client devices operated by a user. A task request may be recognized from the free form input, and it may be determined that the task request includes a request to store metadata related to one or more images captured by a camera of the first client device. The metadata may be selected based on content of the task request. The metadata may then be stored, e.g., in association with one or more images captured by the camera, in computer-readable media. The computer-readable media may be searchable by the metadata.
Context and content based automated image and media sharing
Digital media can be automatically transferred between a digital capture device or storage device and one or more other devices with little or no user intervention. Media can be selected for automatic transfer based on one or more media-content or media-context characteristics.

INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD OF CONTROLLING THE SAME, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus that positively notifies a notification destination of information to be notified even if a communication protocol is changed before notifying storage of stored data. A notification setting processing section of a document storage notification application sets a protocol for accessing the stored document data from a computer via a network. When document data is stored in a HDD, a mail transmission processing section notifies the computer of storage location information on the document data for accessing the data according to the set protocol. If the set protocol is changed before the storage location information is notified to the computer, a control section causes the mail transmission processing section to notify the computer of storage location information for causing the document data to be accessed using the changed protocol.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MEDICAL IMAGE DATA ONTO PORTABLE DIGITAL RECORDING MEDIA
This application discloses a system for recording medical image data for production on a portable digital recording medium such as CDs and DVDs. Aspects of this disclosure include a robotic disc burning system that can receive a request for medical imaging data generated by an imaging modality and record all of the following onto an optical disc that is removable from the robotic disc burning system: the medical imaging data, data that is related to the medical imaging data, and a viewing program configured to allow viewing by a general purpose computer of the medical imaging data that is recorded on the disc. The system includes, among other components, a labeling module configured to produce a label on the optical disc without manual application of the label onto the optical disc. Additional aspects of this disclosure include an associated method for recording medical image data.
INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM AND CONTROL METHOD
A notification that scan data identified by an identifier transmitted to a document management system is registered in the document management system is made as a notification screen. The notification screen is transitioned to an edit screen for editing the scan data identified by the identifier.
Retrieval information generation device, image processing device, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A retrieval information generation device includes a determination unit that determines retrieval document information for retrieving a phrase in an original document from an original document file which is created by reading the original document by an image reading device and is identified on the basis of identification information, an extraction unit that extracts retrieval image information for visually specifying the original document from the original document file, and a generation unit that associates the retrieval document information and the retrieval image information with the identification information of the original document file to generate a retrieval file.
Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and non-transitory computer readable storage medium
An information processing apparatus includes an identifier generator, a reversible converter, and an assignment unit. The identifier generator generates first identifiers which are uniquely specified. The reversible converter reversibly converts the first identifiers to generate second identifiers. The assignment unit assigns the second identifiers to processes to be assigned with identifiers.
System and method for producing medical image data onto portable digital recording media
This application discloses a system for recording medical image data for production on a portable digital recording medium such as CDs and DVDs. This system includes a parsing software module operatively configured to: (i) receive medical data (ii) identify an end of a particular patient's data (iii) parse patient identification information and study information (iv) store the parsed patient identification information and parsed study information; a job processing software module configured to create a job containing medical data, medical data viewing software, and merge data; a disc writer to receive the job, comprising: a recorder configured to record the medical data viewing software and the medical data within the job; and a printer configured to print patient identification information and the study information on the disc.
