An information processing apparatus includes a receiving unit that receives print instruction information to print data, a memory that stores the print instruction information received by the receiving unit, a management unit that manages an output order of the print instruction information, an execution unit that executes a printing process according to the print instruction information in the output order, and a near field communication unit that performs near field communication. In a case where a connection via the near field communication is established, where the receiving unit receives the print instruction information through the near field communication unit, and where there is a print instruction information previously stored in the memory, the management unit gives priority to the print instruction information in the output order over the print instruction information previously stored in the memory.

In a control method for a processing apparatus connected to an image reading apparatus, in a case where the processing apparatus receives a cancellation instruction while the image reading apparatus performs a reading step, the processing apparatus causes the image reading apparatus to terminate the reading step and deletes image data of a page being read, and in a case where the processing apparatus receives a cancellation instruction after the image reading apparatus has performed the reading step, the processing apparatus performs controlling processing for deleting image data that has been acquired in the last reading step and has yet to be stored.

The processor may, by executing the computer executable instructions stored in the memory, determine whether a toner cartridge mounted in the image forming apparatus is genuine, and when it is determined that the toner cartridge is non-genuine, deactivate a user-defined application installed in the image forming apparatus.

An image forming apparatus incudes a printer and a controller. An example image forming apparatus may include a memory storing computer executable instructions and a processor. The processor may, by executing the computer executable instructions stored in the memory, determine whether a toner cartridge mounted in the image forming apparatus is genuine, and when it is determined that the toner cartridge is non-genuine, deactivate a user-defined application installed in the image forming apparatus.

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an image forming control method, an image forming apparatus, and a non-transitory storage medium. The image forming control method includes acquiring job data and job parameters corresponding to the job data, where the job parameters include an image post-processing direction and a job data direction; determining a sheet feed direction based on the image post-processing direction and the job data direction in conjunction with a pre-stored corresponding relationship for characterizing a preset image post-processing direction, a preset job data direction, and a preset sheet feed direction; and based on the sheet feed direction, the job data, the job data direction, and the image post-processing direction, controlling an image forming device to perform an image forming operation, and controlling an image post-processing device to perform an image post-processing operation.
