Folding agricultural implement hinge system
A folding agricultural implement including a center frame section, a plurality of wing sections and first and second hinge systems. The plurality of wing sections are positioned on opposite lateral sides of the center frame section, and include an inner wing section, a middle wing section and an outer wing section, each outer wing section being configured to fold laterally inward and over a respective middle wing section. Each middle wing section is configured to fold laterally inward and over a respective inner wing section. The first hinge system is coupled to both the outer wing section and the middle wing section. The first hinge system having a first pivot axis. The second hinge system is coupled to the middle wing section and the inner wing section, and has a second pivot axis that is vertically higher than the first pivot axis when the implement is in an unfolded state.
Front-folding toolbar
An agricultural implement configured to be propelled by a prime mover. The implement comprises a toolbar configured to support a plurality of agricultural tools. The toolbar is a front-folding toolbar configured to be shifted forward from an operational position to a transport position. The implement further comprises a draw-bar extending forward from the toolbar and configured to be coupled with the prime mover. The draw-bar is rotatably connected with the toolbar via a connection assembly that presents a generally laterally extending rotational axis, such that the draw-bar is configured to rotate vertically about the rotational axis.
MULTI SECTION FOLDING IMPLEMENT WITH FLEX COUPLING SYSTEMS ON OUTER WING MEMBERS
A farm implement has a frame assembly with a carrier frame and a pair of wing frame assemblies each having a plurality of wing members. First wing members are pivotally coupled to the carrier frame for rotation about first horizontal axes, second wing members are pivotally coupled to the first wing members for rotation about second horizontal axes, and third wing members are pivotally coupled to the second wing members for rotation about vertical axes. Hydraulic actuator assemblies are provided for folding and unfolding the wing frame assemblies. Flex coupling systems are provided to allow the third wing members to float about horizontal axes relative to the second wing members when the third wing members are in their extended working positions. Hydraulic actuators with slotted connections allow a limited range of floating movement of the third wing members and keep the third wing members level when the implement is raised.
AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT WITH VISION SENSORS
An agricultural implement broadly includes a ground-engaging tool, a time-of-flight sensor, and a controller. The time-of-flight sensor is configured to obtain information indicative of seed parameters, furrow parameters, and/or soil condition parameters. The controller is configured to process the information obtained by the time-of-flight sensor to generate the parameters, wherein the controller is further configured to automatically control operation of one or more components of the implement based on the parameters.
Multi-section hinged agricultural equipment
An example work machine generally includes a main section, a pair of inner wings, a pair of outer wings, a pair of flippers, a work assembly, a ground interface assembly, and a height control assembly. The flippers are pivotable relative to the outer wings about axes that extend in a direction transverse to the travel direction of the work machine. Each flipper includes at least one corresponding work component and at least one corresponding ground interface mechanism. The height control assembly is operable to adjust heights of the work components relative to a ground surface.
