Work vehicle

A work vehicle (1) comprises a mobile frame with a main shaft (2) and a set of support arms adjustable between a lateral operative position, in which the support arms extend laterally of the frame on either side of the main shaft, and an at least partially upward oriented transport position. The support arms have a plurality of mutually pivotable support arm parts which support work modules (11A . . . 11F) placed at a regular distance from each other in order to thereby perform work on a ground surface in the operative position. In the operative position a center of a first of the support arms is situated on a first side of the main shaft at a lateral distance from the main shaft, and in the operative position a center of a second of the support arms is situated on an opposite second side of the main shaft at a lateral distance from the main shaft.

Lift system for an agricultural tillage implement

An agricultural tillage implement includes a main section including a hitch extending in a travel direction, a plurality of foldable wing sections coupled with the main section, a plurality of ground engaging tilling elements, and a plurality of lift and gauge wheel lift mechanisms. The tilling elements are coupled to the main section and wing sections. Each of the lift and gauge wheel lift mechanisms has a rear lift wheel actuator and a front gauge wheel actuator. A control system is configured to independently actuate the rear lift wheel actuators and the front gauge wheel actuators to control a depth of tilling elements in each of the sections when the implement is in a field configuration, and to level the implement front to rear and side to side.

APPARATUS AND METHOD TO MINIMIZE TRANSPORT DIMENSIONS OF AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENTS

The transport dimensions of an agricultural implement having ground engaging components are minimized by the provision of sub fames to enable the ground engaging components to retract relative to their associated frame member so that the inboard and outboard frame members may be folded and kept in a transport position providing maximum clearance between opposed elements and a minimum overall width and height.

Flexible wing sections for a field cultivator

An agricultural tillage implement for use in a field. The agricultural tillage implement including a frame section and a plurality of wing sections. The frame section has a pull hitch extending in a travel direction. Each of the plurality of wing sections are coupled to the frame section and/or a wing section. The wing sections each have an articulated portion pivotal about an axis substantially perpendicular to the travel direction. The wing sections include a first wing section and a second wing section. The articulated portion of the first wing section pivoting independent of the articulated portion of the second wing section.

AGRICULTURAL TILLAGE IMPLEMENT WHEEL CONTROL

An agricultural tillage implement includes a main section including a hitch extending in a travel direction, a plurality of foldable wing sections coupled with the main section, a plurality of ground engaging tilling elements, a plurality of wheel assemblies and a control system. The tilling elements are coupled to the main section and wing sections. Each of the wheel assemblies include an actuator. The wheel assemblies include a first plurality of wheel assemblies associated with the main section and a second plurality of wheel assemblies associated with the plurality of wing sections. The actuators of the first plurality of wheel assemblies being independent of the actuators of the second plurality of wheel assemblies. The control system is configured to actuate the actuators to effect a profile minimizing operation of the foldable wing sections when the implement is being transitioned into a transport mode.

AGRICULTURAL AUXILIARY TILLAGE IMPLEMENT CONTROL

An agricultural tillage implement includes a main section including a hitch extending in a travel direction, a plurality of foldable wing sections coupled with the main section, at least one auxiliary implement assembly coupled to each of the wing sections and a control system. Each auxiliary implement assembly includes at least one support member, at least one pivotal arm pivotally coupled to the support member, at least one actuator coupled to both the support member and the pivotal arm and a ground contacting implement coupled to the pivotal arm. The control system is configured to actuate the actuators to control a position of each ground contacting implement in each of the sections when the agricultural implement is transitioning to a transport mode.

An agricultural implement configured to be propelled by a prime mover. The implement comprises a toolbar configured to support a plurality of agricultural tools. The toolbar is a front-folding toolbar configured to be shifted forward from an operational position to a transport position. The implement further comprises a draw-bar extending forward from the toolbar and configured to be coupled with the prime mover. The draw-bar is rotatably connected with the toolbar via a connection assembly that presents a generally laterally extending rotational axis, such that the draw-bar is configured to rotate vertically about the rotational axis.

Agricultural tillage implement wheel control

An agricultural tillage implement including a main section having a hitch extending in a travel direction, a plurality of foldable wing sections coupled with the main section, and a plurality of ground engaging tilling elements. The tilling elements are coupled to the main section and wing sections. At least one of the sections have a gauge wheel system. The gauge wheel system includes an untilled wheel assembly, a tilled wheel assembly, and an adjustment device. The adjustment device is configured to adjust the untilled wheel assembly relative to the tilled wheel assembly thereby compensating for a characteristic difference between tilled and untilled soil.
