An image processing apparatus connected to an external apparatus via a network, includes: a network interface to receive an output-target file and an output setting file from the external apparatus, the output setting file associating file identification information for identifying the output-target file with setting information to be set when the output-target file is output; and circuitry to set an output setting in accordance with the setting information associated with the file identification information of the output-target file, and to output the output-target file in accordance with the output setting that is set.

A server receives a correlation instruction from an information processing apparatus when the storage stores first device information uniquely assigned to an image processing apparatus. The correlation instruction is for correlating first device information with a service that a service-providing apparatus provides. The server receives first authentication information from the information processing apparatus. The server stores the first authentication information in association with the first device information in the storage. The display displays a list screen, into which a first list of instruction execution type print jobs received from another of the plurality of print apparatuses and a second list of the instruction execution type print jobs of a logged-in user among the instruction execution type print jobs spooled in the storage device are combined on the display In the other of the plurality of print apparatuses, if status change of spooling of the logged-in user's instruction execution type print job has occurred, the print apparatus is notified of the status change of spooling from the other of the plurality of print apparatuses to update the list screen displayed on the display.

The first display controller performs control such that a first screen is displayed on a display. The first screen is a screen that shows a specified destination and includes a first image for accepting an operation for inputting a character string representing a destination. An image forming apparatus includes a printing unit connectable to a print server system with a print service providing print data. The image forming apparatus includes a reception unit that receives a URL from the print service in response to receipt of a print instruction, the URL indicating a location where the print data is stored and receives the print data based on the received URL, and a transmission unit that transmits the received print data to the printing unit. The transmission unit starts communication with the printing unit in response to receipt of partial print data, does not disconnect communication with the printing unit before receipt of a remainder of the print data finishes, and disconnects communication with the printing unit in response to completion of transmission of all of the print data.

A print system includes a client device, plural mobile printers, and a server device. The client device issues a print instruction in accordance with a user operation. The plural mobile printers each receive a print instruction and move to a destination indicated by the print instruction so as to perform printing at the destination. The server device selects a mobile printer which will perform printing based on a print instruction issued by the client device, in accordance with selection standards including judgement standards for judging whether or not it is necessary to distribute a print instruction over plural mobile printers or to transfer a print instruction from one mobile printer to another mobile printer.

An image processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a reading unit that reads an image from a sheet to generate image data. A code generation unit generates a code representing an email address of the image processing apparatus. A display unit displays the code. A control unit receives an email transmitted from a transmission source to the email address of the image processing apparatus and transmits an email with the image data attached to an email address of the transmission source.
