A system for publishing digital images wherein a mobile device (14) that stores at least one digital image generates output signals in response to operator commands. The mobile device (14) communicates with a source of digital instructions (18) thorough a communication network (16) such that digital instructions are downloaded to the mobile device. The mobile device is thereafter in selective communication with a server (12) that stores digital images, maintains a user profile corresponding to the user of the mobile device, and publishes digital images to at least one digital address (24, 26, 28, 30).

A printing system includes a printing mechanism. The printing mechanism is configured to perform printing. The printing system stores a plurality of print jobs in a storage, and receives selections of two or more print jobs to be executed as two or more target jobs from among the plurality of print jobs stored in the storage. The printing system determines a total fee to be charged for executing the two or more target jobs, and performs a settlement related process related to settlement of the determined total fee. The printing system executes the two or more target jobs to print images by using the printing mechanism in response to completion of settlement of the total fee.

An image forming apparatus includes a printer, a drawing data creating circuit, a medium supply circuit, and a printing amount managing circuit that manages a printing amount. The medium supply circuit performs a primary supply and a secondary supply. The medium supply circuit starts the primary supply prior to completion of creating drawing data. The drawing data creating circuit fixes a color for use in printing. The printing amount managing circuit changes the printing amount according to a specified color specified in the print data before the drawing data creating circuit fixes the color for use when the printing amount needs to be changed to start the primary supply. The printing amount managing circuit corrects the printing amount according to the color for use when the printing amount is changed according to the specified color.

A printing system includes a first terminal apparatus, a printing apparatus, and a first server. The first terminal apparatus acquires a mail address of the printing apparatus by near field communication with the printing apparatus or from a code displayed on the printing apparatus and transmits the acquired mail address to the first server. The first server transmits electronic data corresponding to the first terminal apparatus to the printing apparatus through a third communication path based on the received mail address.
