An information processing apparatus includes: a processor configured to: in response to acquiring a first identification output from a different information processing apparatus, perform control of execution of a first process; in response to completion of the first process, perform control to cause the different information processing apparatus to output a second identification for executing a second process; and in response to acquiring the second identification output from the different information processing apparatus, perform control of execution of the second process.

An image forming apparatus includes a main body memory, and a controller. A second upper limit information stored in the main body memory indicates an upper limit of a printable page number that the image forming apparatus is allowed to print in a state where the image forming apparatus is in an off-line state. A printed page number information stored in the main body memory indicates a printed page number printed in the off-line state. The controller is configured to: increment the printed page number information by one in a case where the one sheet of paper is printed on one side printing; and increment the printed page number information by two in a case where the one sheet is printed on double-sided printing. An image forming apparatus includes a printing unit that executes a printing operation to print an image on a recording sheet, a HDD in which first authentication information for identifying a user is stored in advance, an operation device for receiving information inputted, and a control device. The control device causes the printing unit to print, on the recording sheet, a first status page including first information related to a charge arising from execution of the printing operation, when an instruction to print a status page indicating a printing status by the printing unit has been received, and the authentication information received through the operation device and the first authentication information stored in the HDD in advance have been accorded with each other.

An image forming apparatus includes a printing unit that performs printing based on a job, a setting unit that sets a setting specifying whether billing is to be performed for printing performed by the printing unit, and a control unit that, in a case where printing performed by the printing unit is interrupted due to occurrence of a job interruption event, if a setting specifying that billing is not to be performed is set by the setting unit, executes cancellation of the job when a predetermined time period elapses without a cause of the interruption being cleared and, if a setting specifying that billing is to be performed is set by the setting unit, does not execute the cancellation.
