Processing method and mobile device
A processing method, which includes receiving a photographing instruction in order to trigger a camera to photograph a target document, identifying four sides of a document image corresponding to the target document, determining a first included angle corresponding to the document image, where the first included angle represents an inclination degree of the document image relative to the target document, triggering the camera to reset a focus location in a direction of far-end content in the document image, and taking n pictures when the first included angle is greater than a preset threshold, applying geometric correction to the pictures obtained through photographing, outputting one of the pictures to which geometric correction has been applied. Hence, the method significantly increase definition of the far-end content in the document image, and improve correction quality of the document image.
Document reading apparatus configured to output an image in which background area is removed or non-background area is extracted
A document reading apparatus includes a scanner, an input device receiving an input of a width and length, and a processor configured to scan an area specified based on the input length and generate a first image, generate a second image by removing a part of the first image so that a width of the second image is equal to or greater than the input width, detect a background or non-background area in the second image, determine whether the input is appropriate based on whether all sides of an area specified based on the input width and length overlap the background area or none of the sides overlaps the non-background area on the second image, and when the input is appropriate, output a third image in which the background area is removed or the non-background area is extracted from the second image.
IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD FOR IMPROVING EFFICIENCY OF CLIPPING PROCESS
Provided is an image processing apparatus for improving efficiency of a clipping process. The image processing unit is an image processing apparatus for a raster image processor (RIP) mounted in an image forming apparatus. An order acquiring unit acquires instructions for image processing. A determination unit, in a case where clipping is set according to the instructions acquired by the order acquiring unit, determines whether that clipping is to be in an inclusive mode or an exclusive mode, and in a case of the exclusive mode, calculates pixels that are to be protected in a frame for which image processing is to be performed, and sets a number of pixels necessary for a clipping process. A clip processing unit, in the inclusive mode, in a case where a shape unit for which clipping is to be performed is a rectangle, performs clipping by evaluating a clipping area that includes the shape unit and a frame for which image processing is to be performed, and setting a different frame; and in a case where the shape unit is a trapezoid or a scan line, performs clipping by evaluating a positional relationship between the frame and a line being processed, and setting a different line; and in the exclusive mode, performs clipping by setting a number of pixels calculated by the determination unit without setting a different line, and performing evaluation of the clipping area and each line.
Image processing
An image of a check may be presented for payment in a banking system in place of the physical paper check. The check to be deposited can be collected from a depositor using a scanner. A web site, accessed through a depositor's web browser, can be used to drive the process of collecting the check, but in some contexts (e.g., in less popular computing environments, such as those that do not run the most popular operating systems), it is economically infeasible to obtain the certificates that would be used to allow a program executing in the web browser to control the scanner. Thus, a depositor can be instructed to capture and upload images of the check in the form of files, where the image files are then presented for payment through a banking system.
PRINTING PLATE SEGMENT MOUNTING SYSTEM AND METHOD
A method for mounting one or more printing plate segments on a carrier sheet. The method comprises importing a file into a computer associated with a mounting unit. For each printing plate segment, the file includes a printing plate segment identifier, information regarding alignment of registration marks relative to the carrier sheet; and image data corresponding to a characteristic pattern associated with each printing plate segment. A composite image depicting the image data corresponding to the characteristic patterns is then displayed on a display in the predetermined arrangement of one or more printing plate segment locations and orientations. A mounting unit and a printing system and computer readable media programmed with instructions for performing the method are also described.
PRINTER AND PRINTING CONTROL METHOD
An image generation control unit generates a connection image indicating a plurality of print target images. The connection image is an image for being printed using a first region for being used in the n-th printing processing and a second region for being used in the (n+1)-th printing processing. An image processing unit generates a first image for being printed using the first region and a second image for being printed using the second region.
Image processing apparatus and image processing method
In accordance with an embodiment, an image processing apparatus includes an image reading section configured to read an original document and generate image data, the image data corresponding to the original document or a part of the original document. The image processing apparatus further includes a control panel including a document area for displaying a plurality of images, the plurality of images including an image which corresponds to the image data. The control panel is configured to receive input designating the image corresponding to the image data and at least one other image from the plurality of images. The image processing apparatus also includes a controller, which in response to an instruction, generates an aggregation image including the image corresponding to the image data and the at least one other image from the plurality of images.
Image processing apparatus inserting image into insertion area, and image forming apparatus
An image processing apparatus includes an image input unit and a control unit. Through the image input unit, a first image including an insertion area and a second image different from the first image are input. The control unit functions as an image acquisition section, an insertion area detection section, an insertion image detection section, and an image processing section. The image acquisition section acquires the first image and the second image input through the image input unit. The insertion area detection section detects the insertion area from the first image. The insertion image detection section detects an insertion image from the second image. The image processing section generates a third image by inserting the insertion image into the insertion area.
IMAGE FORMATION APPARATUS AND STORING MEDIUM
Provided is a printing apparatus including a cassette configured to be capable of managing a stored paper-sheet by using paper-sheet size information and paper-sheet attribute data, in which an adjustment value of a print position is registered to copied paper-sheet attribute data if an event in which the adjustment value is registered to paper-sheet attribute data in which the paper-sheet size information is not set occurs.
Information processing method for displaying a plurality of images extracted from a moving image
First time information individually corresponding to a plurality of first images extracted from a designated moving image is assigned to the plurality of first images. The plurality of first images and a second image captured as a still image are individually displayed such that the plurality of first images are consecutively arranged irrespective of the first time information and second time information corresponding to the second image and the plurality of first images and the second image are arranged in order based on time information corresponding to the designated moving image and the second time information.
