An agricultural system includes an agricultural product supply station, an autonomous agricultural machine, a plurality of product containers, and a powered transfer mechanism. The machine is operable to advance across a field while dispensing product. The product containers are configured to be removably stored by the supply station in a stored position and used interchangeably with the machine. Each container is configured to contain product and operably couple to the machine to dispense product thereto. Each container is shiftable between a machine-coupled position and the stored position. The container is attached to the machine in the machine-coupled position and detached from the machine in the stored position. The transfer mechanism is operably supported by at least one of the supply station and the implement and is configured to shift each container between the machine-coupled and stored positions.

PORTABLE STATION FOR MODULAR AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT CONTAINERS

A mobile agricultural product dispensing system is configured to hold a supply of agricultural product and transport the product for operations on a field by an agricultural machine. The dispensing system includes a wheeled supply station and a plurality of product containers. The supply station is operable to be advanced to and from the field and includes a rack assembly defining a series of container-receiving bays. The product containers are configured to be used interchangeably with the machine. Each container is configured to contain product and operably couple to the machine to dispense product thereto. Each container is removably supported by the rack assembly in a corresponding one of the bays.

SYSTEM AND COMPUTER-IMPLEMENTED METHOD FOR FACILITATING TRANSFERS OF PRODUCT CONTAINERS BETWEEN A STATION AND AN AUTONOMOUS MACHINE

A control system is operable to control an autonomous machine for autonomously applying one or more products to a jobsite in accordance with a set of operation instructions. The products are stored in one or more interchangeable containers which are initially located on a station. The control system broadly includes an alignment sensor and a machine processor. The alignment sensor is configured to sense and generate alignment data regarding a relative position of the station and a particular container that contains a particular product. The machine processor is configured to align the autonomous machine with the station and the particular container based on the alignment data from the alignment sensor, and transfer the particular container from the station to the autonomous machine; move the autonomous machine over the jobsite and apply the particular product from the particular container in accordance with the set of operation instructions; and align the autonomous machine with the station based on the alignment data from the alignment sensor, and transfer the particular container from the autonomous machine to the station.

CONNECTOR FOR AN AGRICULTURAL VEHICLE

An agricultural vehicle includes: a chassis; a tank carried by the chassis; at least one meter module coupled to the tank, the at least one meter module having at least one gate; a gate control link coupled with the at least one gate of the at least one meter module; a control rod carried by the chassis; and a connector coupling the control rod to the gate control link at a connection interface such that movement of the control rod controls an open state of the at least one gate of the at least one meter module, the connector having a frangible portion adjacent the connection interface, the control rod and the gate control link uncoupling from one another upon a breaking force causing the frangible portion to break.

METER ROLLER FOR AN AGRICULTURAL METERING SYSTEM

A meter roller for an agricultural metering system includes a spindle having a driven shaft, a first ring, and a second ring. The first ring and the second ring are rigidly coupled to the driven shaft, and the driven shaft is configured to engage a drive shaft to facilitate rotation of the spindle. The meter roller also includes a sealing ring longitudinally disposed between the first ring and the second ring. An outer diameter of the sealing ring is less than or equal to an outer diameter of the first ring and an outer diameter of the second ring, and the sealing ring is formed from a material having sufficient resilience to enable the sealing ring to stretch to facilitate disposition of the sealing ring between the first ring and the second ring.

Metering device for granular material and distribution machine having metering device

The invention relates to a metering device (5) for granular material, in particular seeds and/or fertilizer, where the metering device (5) comprises a metering housing (9) having at least one inlet (8) and at least one outlet (11) for the granular material and two side walls (10) that are arranged spaced from one another, where a metering wheel (13) with end faces (13a) each pointing toward the side walls (10) is arranged between, firstly, the inlet (8) and, secondly, the outlet (11), and between the side walls (10), that are arranged spaced from one another, on a shaft and is connectable in a force-fit manner to the latter and can be driven to rotate by the shaft in a metering direction (D), where the metering wheel (13) is associated with blocking means (14) which are configured to block the metering wheel (13) against the transport of granular material in a direction opposite to the metering direction (D) from the inlet (8) to the outlet (11) and/or in the metering direction (D) from the outlet (11) to the inlet (8), and a plain wheel (15) is arranged at each end face (13a) of the metering wheel (13) and extends between the end face (13a) and the side wall (10) in an unfastened manner on the shaft, where a sealing element (16) is arranged on both sides between the respective end face (13a) of the metering wheel (13) and a side surface (15a) of the respective plain wheel (15) pointing toward this end face (13a).

Air seed meter housing with seed path relief

A direct drive seed metering system includes a seed disc having a plurality of suction apertures with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir and to direct seed flow towards the apertures. A seed path relief system allows the placement of the seeds such that they are released from an outer edge of the seed disc. An adjustable seed singulator is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc where inner and outer blades are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes. The seed disc is driven via engagement of an internal gear with the external gear of an independent drive motor.
