SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING ENHANCED DOCUMENTS FOR PERFECT AUTOMATED PARSING
The disclosed enhanced document creation and parsing systems deal with enhanced documents that allow for the presentation of document content in a preferred visual manner, while ensuring that the document content can be captured accurately by an automated parser with nothing being discarded or misrepresented. The enhanced document creation system may create an enhanced document by encoding document content in accordance with a defined schema, optionally encrypting the resulting structured data into an encrypted byte string, and embedding the encrypted byte string as non-visible metadata in a rendered document. The resulting enhanced document can be completely and accurately parsed by an enhanced document parsing system that is capable of extracting, decrypting, and decoding the embedded document metadata.
Encrypting and decrypting postscript language
A method of encrypting at least a portion of PostScript vector language, where the PostScript vector language includes a cleartext portion and a ciphertext portion, the method including: (a) encrypting at least a part of the PostScript cleartext portion via an encryption algorithm with a generated encryption key resulting in at least a part of the ciphertext portion and overwriting the PostScript cleartext portion with the resulting at least part of the ciphertext portion; (b) saving the encryption key in a file separate from a file containing the PostScript vector language; (c) linking both the encryption key file and the PostScript file in an image processor interpreting the PostScript vector language to display or print PostScript graphics; (d) decrypting the at least part of the ciphertext portion resulting in decrypted PostScript cleartext; and (e) executing the resulting decrypted Postscript cleartext to produce an image on a document or screen.
Copyright protection based on hidden copyright information
Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for hiding copyright information in printable materials. One of the methods includes generating, by a computing device, a unique identifier (ID) based on copyright information associated with digital content, wherein the copyright information and the digital content are recorded on a blockchain of a blockchain network; determining one or more features associated with one or more printable materials; and converting the unique ID to a digital watermark based on the one or more features, the digital watermark not being apparent to an unaided human eye when printed on the one or more printable materials and enabling retrieval of the copyright information from the blockchain based on the unique ID.
Image processing apparatus, system, server, control method, and storage medium to perform encryption processes on image data and attribute data using first and second keys and further perform character recognition process
The present invention enables job log records concerning an image processing apparatus to be managed in such a manner that the job log records can be searched on a server such as a cloud server using attributes and a character string included in an image as the job log records remain encrypted, thereby solving a problem concerning privacy.
Privacy-aware image encryption
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a controller, configured to receive an input image signal captured by a camera device, perform a codec process on the input image signal to generate a processed file. The controller is further configured to perform privacy detection on the input image signal or the processed file. In response to the input image signal or the processed file being detected to include privacy information, the controller is further configured to encrypt the processed file to generate an encrypted file.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STEGANOGRAPHIC PROCESSING AND COMPRESSION OF IMAGE DATA
A method for steganographic processing and compression of image data with negligible information loss, wherein said image data comprises noise and information. The method includes the steps of: acquiring image data to be processed and/or compressed, storing and/or transmitting the image data, and preparing the acquired image data for compression. The preparation step includes determining an input noise model and corresponding parameters adapted to reflect noise created by an image sensor used to capture said image data, and removing, with negligible information loss, noise from the acquired image data by use of the input noise model such as to produce noise-reduced image data.
Colorspace encoding multimedia data on a physical page
Techniques to improve storage of information, including encoding of multimedia data on physical pages. Some techniques include logic configured to encode multimedia data pursuant to a colorspace scheme and on a piece of paper. The logic may further be configured to generate one or more colorspaces associated with the multimedia data, perform colorspace conversions based on the generated colorspaces, and encode the multimedia data pursuant to the colorspace conversions. The logic may be further configured to apply one or both of an ultraviolet layer and an infrared layer to the physical page, e.g. paper, in order to further enhance security and provide an additional vehicle for storing and encoding data on the physical page, e.g. paper. The logic may further be configured to provide a scanning device with the ability to scan and decode the encoded data one the sheet of paper. Other embodiments are described and claimed.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, METHOD, AND MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus is provided. The apparatus performs operations comprising searching for devices connected to a network; displaying a screen for selecting a device to be used from among devices discovered through the search; when the device selected through the screen is a device which can perform encrypted communication and for which a result of processing for verifying a certificate received from the device is a failure, inquiring with a user as to whether to allow or reject communication with that device; and obtaining information of the selected device by communicating with the device when a user operation for allowing the communication has been made in response to the inquiring, and performing control for not establishing encrypted communication with the selected device when a user operation for rejecting the communication has been made.
ENCODING AND DECODING APPARATUS
An encoding apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises an input unit operable to obtain a plurality of training images, said training images being for use in training a machine learning model. The apparatus also comprises a label unit operable to obtain a class label associated with the training images; and a key unit operable to obtain a secret key for use in encoding the training images. The apparatus further comprises an image noise generator operable to generate, based on the obtained secret key, noise for introducing into the training images. The image noise generator is configured to generate noise that correlates with the class label associated with the training images such that a machine learning model subsequently trained with the modified training images learns to associate the introduced noise with the class label for those images. A corresponding decoding apparatus is also provided.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REMOTE FAX INTERCONNECT
Systems and methods for the virtualization, aggregation, enhancement, and distributed processing of facsimile communications. The Remote FAX Interconnect known as etherFAX is a system and method that allows for the reception and delivery of information to or from one or more facsimile systems using Internet/web based communication protocols such as HTTP(S) as the transport between a cooperating facsimile capable application or hardware and the remotely accessible etherFAX services.
