There is provided an image display system including: a color chart including a plurality of patches that include at least three patches selected from a group consisting of first to seventh patches having specific colors; an imaging device configured to simultaneously image the color chart and a person to be imaged and acquire image data; and a display device configured to receive the image data and display the image data as an image on a display unit.
Signal reshaping for high dynamic range signals
In a method to improve backwards compatibility when decoding high-dynamic range images coded in a wide color gamut (WCG) space which may not be compatible with legacy color spaces, hue and/or saturation values of images in an image database are computed for both a legacy color space (say, YCbCr-gamma) and a preferred WCG color space (say, IPT-PQ). Based on a cost function, a reshaped color space is computed so that the distance between the hue values in the legacy color space and rotated hue values in the preferred color space is minimized HDR images are coded in the reshaped color space. Legacy devices can still decode standard dynamic range images assuming they are coded in the legacy color space, while updated devices can use color reshaping information to decode HDR images in the preferred color space at full dynamic range.
Systems and methods for matching color and appearance of target coatings
System and methods for matching color and appearance of a target coating are provided herein. The system includes an electronic imaging device configured to receive a target image data of the target coating. The target image data includes target coating features. The system further includes one or more feature extraction algorithms that extracts the target image features from the target image data. The system further includes a machine-learning model that identifies a calculated match sample image from a plurality of sample images utilizing the target image features. The machine-learning model includes pre-specified matching criteria representing the plurality of sample images for identifying the calculated match sample image from the plurality of sample images. The calculated match sample image is utilized for matching color and appearance of the target coating.
Cartoonlization processing method for image, electronic device, and storage medium
The disclosure discloses a cartoonlization processing method for an image, and relates to a field of computational vision, image processing, face recognition, deep learning technologies. The method includes: performing skin color recognition on a facial image to be processed to determine a target skin color of a face in the facial image; processing the facial image by utilizing any cartoonizing model in a cartoonizing model set to obtain a reference cartoonized image corresponding to the facial image in a case that the cartoonizing model set does not contain a cartoonizing model corresponding to the target skin color; determining a pixel adjustment parameter based on the target skin color and a reference skin color corresponding to the any cartoonizing model; and adjusting a pixel value of each pixel point in the reference cartoonized image based on the pixel adjustment parameter, to obtain a target cartoonized image corresponding to the facial image.
Multilayer white printing with white-balance
White-balance is improved when printing on colored media, while minimizing the time and use of costly materials required by present approaches. In an embodiment, the typical solid white fill or background layer is altered by including in the white layer one or more of the other colors already available in the printer to shade this layer. Thus, a small amount of cyan, for example, helps balance a pink-ish (red) media; yellow is used for blue media; and magenta is used for green media; as well as combinations thereof. A combination of transparent process inks and opaque white helps to maintain brightness (luminosity).

IMAGE-PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE-FORMING APPARATUS, METHOD OF PROCESSING IMAGE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image-processing apparatus generates data to be outputted to formation unit which form a shaped article on a recording medium. An acquisition unit acquire first shape data that represents a shape of unevenness. A first generation unit generates edge data that represents a shape of an edge of the unevenness, based on the first shape data. A second generation unit generates first recording amount data that represents a recording amount of a first recording material that is used to form at least a part of the edge in the edge data on the recording medium, or first dot arrangement data that represents dot arrangement of the first recording material on the recording medium, based on the edge data.
PRINTER CALIBRATION USING ERROR-CORRECTED COLOR PROFILE GENERATION
The present invention relates to a method of generating “expanded color chart” representing various ink combination, for profiling a multi-color printing device or printer, using “reduced set of color chart”, printed using the printer, where a. The expanded color chart is computed by applying “Error Correction” function to the expanded color chart predicted using a theoretical model of color prediction for a given ink combinations in the expanded chart. b. Error Correction function is computed/modelled as function of the variance/difference observed between the color values predicted by the theoretical model and the actual values measured for the ink combinations in the printed “reduced set of color chart”.
Reproducing out-of-gamut spot colors on a color printer
A method for reproducing an out-of-gamut spot color includes determining a color gamut for a color printer, and specifying a spot color by color coordinates in a three-dimensional color space. A first target color is determined corresponding to a color having a minimum color difference to the specified spot color, and a second target color is determined corresponding to a color on the color gamut surface having a hue value equal to a hue value of the specified spot color. A path is defined on the color gamut surface connecting the first target color and the second target color, wherein a control parameter is used to specify a relative position along the defined path. A control parameter prediction function is provided which computes a predicted control parameter value as a function of color coordinates. The predicted control parameter value is used to determine an aim color for reproducing the spot color.
