SYSTEMS, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MULTI-ROW AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT CONTROL AND MONITORING
Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for monitoring and controlling an agricultural implement, including seed planting implements. Systems, methods and apparatus are provided for detecting seeds being conveyed by seed conveyor.
AGRICULTURAL SEEDER
An agricultural implement including an agricultural system operable to deposit product into soil. The agricultural system comprises a first blade configured to form a first furrow within the soil, and a second blade configured to form a second furrow within the soil. The agricultural system further includes a walking beam including a front portion, a rear portion, and a pivot portion between the front portion and the rear portion. The walking beam is configured to rotate about an axis presented by the pivot portion. Furthermore, the first blade is secured to the front portion of the walking beam, and the second blade is secured to the rear portion of the walking beam.
Device for seed innoculation
A device for the inoculation of seeds is attached internally to a seed meter or a seed box on a planting machine. This is done to carry out the inoculation and treatment of seeds at the same time that they are being planted. The device has a reservoir where the inoculant is placed and then subsequently taken by the pump to the cylindrical mixture chamber. At the top of the cylindrical mixture chamber is a nozzle, which is located at the opposite side of where the seeds leave. They leave from the bottom of the device. There is a drive axle and a group of gears that move and give force to the blades that mix the seeds in the fluid located in the inner part of the chamber. The chamber is connected to the seed distributor disc and the flow of seeds is based on the seed distributor disc's consumption.
Air seed meter with internal drive
A seed metering system, for use on a row crop planter, selects individual seeds from a seed reservoir and dispenses the seeds singularly at a controlled rate. A direct drive seed metering system includes a seed disc having a plurality of suction apertures with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir and to direct seed flow towards the apertures. A seed path relief system provides for allowing the placement of the seeds such that they are released from an outer edge of the seed disc. An adjustable seed singulator is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc where inner and outer blades are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes. The seed disc is driven via engagement of an internal gear with the external gear of an independent drive motor.

Metering member and method of mounting the same
A seed metering system for metering a plurality of seeds includes a meter housing having a first side and a second side. A seed inlet is positioned at the first side and an aperture is positioned at the second side. The seed metering system further includes a hub mounted within the aperture, a retaining member located at the hub, and a metering member positioned on the hub. The metering member compressively engages the retaining member.
System and method for spraying seeds dispensed from a twin row planter
A system includes a planter row unit, at least one nozzle assembly, and a controller. The planter row unit includes a first seed meter configured to dispense seeds into a first furrow at a seed frequency and a second seed meter configured to dispense seeds into a second furrow at the seed frequency. The nozzle assembly is configured to spray the seeds dispensed into the first and second furrows, and includes a valve. The controller is communicatively coupled to the valve, and is configured to determine the seed frequency of the first and second seed meters based on a speed-related parameter of the planter. The controller is further configured to control operation of the valve based on the seed frequency such that fluid is sprayed at least one of on or adjacent to each seed.
Row unit for a seeding machine with dual seed meters
A row unit for a seeding machine has a seed meter assembly having first and second reservoirs for holding a first pool of seeds and a second pool of seeds, respectively. The seed meter assembly is operable to selectively transport seeds from the first pool and seeds from the second pool. The row unit also has a conveyor with a conduit for receiving seeds and configured to discharge the seeds from the seeding machine, and a seed loader disposed between the seed meter assembly and the conveyor for directing the seeds from the seed meter assembly to the conveyor.
Systems, methods, and apparatus for multi-row agricultural implement control and monitoring
A monitoring system and method for modify a motor speed driving a seed conveyor on an implement so that the seed release speed is matched to the travel speed of the implement. A speed sensor measures the travel speed of the implement. A seed conveyor having a plurality of flights receives seeds from a seed meter. A monitor is in communication with the speed sensor, the motor driving the seed conveyor, a first sensor disposed to detect the passing of seeds and the flights as they travel toward the soil and a second sensor disposed to detect the passing of flights after the seed is released, wherein the monitor modifies the motor speed of the conveyor based on the speed sensor and signals generated by the first sensor and second sensor.
ELECTRONICALLY PULSING AGRICULTURAL PRODUCT WITH SEED UTILIZING SEED TRANSPORT MECHANISM
A system for electronically pulsing agricultural product with seed includes a seed transport mechanism affixed to a seed planter row unit. A seed sensing device senses dispensation of the seed from the seed transport mechanism. An agricultural product conduit dispenses agricultural products into the seed transport mechanism to provide dispensing of the products with the seed as the seed and product exit the seed transport mechanism. A control interface electronic system dispenses a particular quantity of product with the seed in the seed transport mechanism. A pulsing valve dispenses products from the conduit when the seed sensing device senses the dispensation of the seed. A seed release speed is provided which is proportional to the ground speed of the seed planter row unit to minimize seed tumbling and optimize accurate placement of seed and product at varying ground speeds of the row unit.
