Sowing element for precision agricultural seeders comprising a device for selecting the seed, of the type which is formed of a perforated disc having opposing faces that are subject to a pressure differential and a pressurisation device associated with the disc for applying the pressure differential to the faces of the disc, the pressurisation device including a pressurisation bell combined with the disc so as to pneumatically couple thereto in order to guarantee said pressure differential, wherein the bell is rotatably idle with respect to the disc.
Seed meter with floating singulator
A seed meter for an agricultural planter in which the seed disc is rotatably mounted within a seed meter housing. As the seed disc rotates, the apertures in the disc rotate along a seed aperture path through a horizontally adjacent seed pool area. The seed disc includes cavities disposed along the seed aperture path to agitate the seeds in the seed pool area. A singulator having multiple co-planar singulator surfaces is biased against the seed side surface of the seed disc.
AIR SEED METER WITH ADJUSTABLE SINGULATOR
A seed metering system, for use on a row crop planter, selects individual seeds from a seed reservoir and dispenses the seeds singularly at a controlled rate. A direct drive seed metering system includes a seed disc having a plurality of suction apertures with a recessed pocket adjacent to an aperture. The recessed pockets act to agitate seeds in the seed reservoir and to direct seed flow towards the apertures. A seed path relief system aids in the placement of the seeds such that they are released from an outer edge of the seed disc. An adjustable seed singulator is mounted adjacent to the face of the seed disc where inner and outer blades are adjusted radially to compensate for the singulation of various seed sizes and shapes. The seed disc is driven via engagement of an internal gear with the external gear of an independent drive motor.
Seal for a seed metering system
A seed metering system for metering a plurality of seeds includes a meter housing having a front side and a rear side opposite and attached to the front side, a seed inlet defined within the front side of the meter housing, and a seed disk positioned within and rotatable relative to the meter housing. The seed disk has a first side in facing relation to the front side of the meter housing and a second side in facing relation to the rear side of the meter housing. The seed metering system further includes a seal in contact with the front side of the meter housing and the first side of the seed disk.

A seed meter for metering a plurality of seeds includes a seed meter housing defining a seed inlet, a seed outlet, and a chamber therebetween, a hub rotatably mounted to the seed meter housing about a rotational axis and extending from a first end positioned within the chamber of the seed meter housing to a second end positioned outside of the seed meter housing, a metering element mounted to the hub within the chamber, a plurality of drain apertures located in the seed meter housing adjacent to the hub, and a handle mounted to the second end of the hub, the handle extends over the plurality of drain apertures in an axial direction parallel to the rotational axis of the hub.
SEEDS DISTRIBUTION DEVICE FOR PRECISION SOWING MACHINES AND PRECISION SOWING MACHINE COMPRISING SUCH A DEVICE
A seed distribution device for precision sowing machines. The device includes a housing for a seed selector disc which is mounted for rotation about a central rotation axis, at least one ring of holes in the seed selector disc which is provided to transport seeds over a circular trajectory, a first singulator and a second singulator which are mounted so as to be radially facing on the housing at opposite sides of the circular trajectory of the seeds and the first and second singulator being distal and proximal with respect to the central rotation axis, respectively, the first singulator and second singulator defining a disruptive selection path for the seeds and being independently and selectively adjustable to modify at least locally the disruptive path so as to eliminate duplicates of seeds from the disc without creating failures.
Seed meter singulator
A seed meter includes a meter housing having a first chamber for seeds and a second chamber. A seed disk is rotatably supported within the meter housing and has a first side and a second side. The first side is exposed to the first chamber and the second side is exposed to the second chamber. The seed disk includes a plurality of seed openings that extend between the first and second sides at a predetermined radial position. A singulator is positioned against the first side of the seed disk and has at least one structure for removing excess seeds from the seed openings as the seed meter disk rotates relative to the singulator. A radial position of the singulator is controlled at least in part by a hub portion of the seed meter. A biasing spring is positioned to exert an axially-oriented bias force pressing the singulator against the first side of the seed meter disk.
Seed selector assemblies for pneumatic meters
A seed selector assembly for a pneumatic meter employed in agricultural seeding equipment may include a seed selector assembly connected to a multi-functional coupler, in which the seed selector assembly is made up of a rotating disk with a central hole and a gear profile, the disk being enclosed by a front ring and a rear ring, and the multi-functional coupler having two interfaces for connecting motor or driven devices. A pinion may be connected to an end of an axis, the opposite end of which is connected to a crown, the pinion being fitted into the cavity of the rear ring and the circular bore of the front ring, with a housed bearing support. The pinion may interact with the gear profile in order to rotate the disk when at least one of the interfaces is connected to a motor device.
Seed delivery system
A seed delivery system having a housing with an input opening at a first end and a discharge opening at a second end. The input opening is adjacent a seed meter and is adapted to receive and transport seeds from the seed meter to a first of a plurality of seed transport rollers disposed within the housing.
Seed meter disk
A seed meter disk includes a body defining a plane of rotation. A circumferential array of seed openings are provided for seed adherence. A circumferential array of seed agitator pockets are formed as depressions in the first side of the body, each one of the array of seed agitator pockets having a radially inner end, a radially outer end, and a trailing edge extending from the radially inner end to the radially outer end. At least a portion of the trailing edge of one or more of the seed agitator pockets is backswept so that a circumferential-direction offset from a radial reference line rotationally ahead of the trailing edge, with respect to rotation of the seed meter disk in an operational direction, increases toward the radially outer end. The backswept portion is non-linear.
