Imaging system
An imaging system includes a camera unit and a control unit. A control signal transmission circuit of the control unit is configured to set a bias potential of a signal line to one of two or more different potentials at a timing that is set on the basis of a first video synchronization signal so as to output a control signal indicating an imaging condition of an image sensor to the signal line. A signal-processing circuit of the camera unit is configured to receive the control signal and determine the imaging condition from the control signal by determining the bias potential at a timing that is set on the basis of a second video synchronization signal.

MULTI-CAMERA DATASET ASSEMBLY AND MANAGEMENT WITH HIGH PRECISION TIMESTAMP REQUIREMENTS
A method and apparatus for synchronizing data captured by multiple image and non-image data capture devices using timing information. In one embodiment, the device comprises a plurality of interfaces operable to receive streaming data from each of a plurality of image and non-image capture devices and timestamping logic implemented, at least in part, in hardware and coupled to the plurality of interfaces to generate and assign timestamp information to each set of data captured by individual capture devices of the plurality of image and non-image capture devices to indicate when the data was captured, where the timestamp information is synchronized to a single timestamp reference clock. The device also comprises processing logic coupled to the timestamping logic to group image data from image capture devices with data from non-image capture devices using the timestamp information.
Audio/visual device and control method thereof
An AV device including a first signal transmitter configured to output a video signal and a first audio signal corresponding to the video signal to a display device; a first signal receiver configured to receive a feedback signal of the first audio signal from the display device; a second signal transmitter configured to output a second audio signal corresponding to the video signal; and a controller configured to determine a processing delay time of the display device by comparing the first audio signal and the feedback signal, and control the second signal transmitter to delay the output of the second audio signal based on the determined processing delay time.
PARALLEL SCHEDULING OF MULTILAYERED MEDIA
Multi-link transportation of media, video and other data of the type having multiple layers, streams and/or encodings is contemplated. The multi-link transportation may be facilitated with a scheduler configured to schedule the various layers, streams, encodings, etc. for transportation over selectable communication links, such as based on reliability, capacity and/or other operating characteristics.

Method and a device for signalling transmission time and/or a system clock
A method for signaling a time and/or clock through a header station generating a transport datastream from video and/or audio data to at least one receiver of the transport datastream calculates the time information (PCR.sub.N+1; RTP.sub.N+1; T.sub.N+1) integrated in a transport data packet of the transport datastream iteratively from the time information (PCR.sub.N; RTP.sub.N; T.sub.1) of the transport data packet last transmitted in the transport datastream with integrated time information, from a transmission time of data bits transmitted since the last transmitted transport data packet with integrated time information in the transport datastream and from a clock (f.sub.PCR; f.sub.Sys). The time information (PCR.sub.N+1, PCR.sub.N; RTP.sub.N+1, RTP.sub.N; T.sub.N+1, T.sub.1) serves in each case for the signaling of times or a clock, and, in each case, contains a pulse number counted up to the transmission time of the respective transport data packet of the clock (f.sub.PCR; f.sub.Sys).

Apparatus and method for adding synchronization information to an auxiliary data space in a video signal and synchronizing a video
A video synchronization apparatus and method by adding sync data to an ancillary data space of a video signal are provided. A sync data adding apparatus may include a sync data generator to generate sync data; and a sync data adder to add the sync data to an ancillary data space of a video signal.
Method and Apparatus to Determine Added Graphics Layers in a Video Image Signal
An original image layer is mixed with one or more graphics layers to form a composite video signal, such as in a vision mixer. Also, the same graphics layers are mixed identically into another, known background image layer to give a second composite video signal. The currently applied added graphics layers are determined, without directly accessing the added graphics layers themselves, using only the first and second composite video signals, the original image layer, and the known background image, such as in a graphics layer detection device. A triangulation matting algorithm may be used in one example.
