Electronic device and method for generating thumbnails based on captured images
An electronic device includes a first image sensor, a second image sensor, one or more image processing modules, and a display. The first image sensor generates first image data. The second image sensor generates second image data. The one or more image processing modules process one or more image data among the first image and the second image data. The display displays the one or more image data among the first image data or second image data processed by the one or more image processing modules. The thumbnail generation module generates thumbnail data using the one or more image data among the first image data and second image data processed by the one or more image processing modules. A method includes converting the plurality of image data into a format displayable on a display, and generating thumbnail data using the image data of the displayable format.
Method and apparatus for triggering special image effects and hardware device
The disclosure discloses a method and apparatus for triggering special image effects and a hardware device. The method for triggering special image effects comprises: acquiring an original image from an image source and displaying the original image on a display device; collecting speech in an environment and recognizing the semantics of said speech; triggering a special effects process in response to recognizing predetermined semantics of said speech, the predetermined semantics being preset semantics associated with one or more special effects process; and according to the triggered special effects process, processing the original image to form and display special image effects. According to the method for triggering special image effects in the embodiment of the present disclosure, the image processing effect is triggered by recognition of speech semantics, thereby solving the technical problem in the prior art of inflexible image effect triggering being unable to free up a user's hands.
Imaging system and method for producing images using means for adjusting optical focus
An imaging system for producing images for display apparatus. Imaging system includes at least one imaging unit arranged to face real-world scene including camera, optical element including first optical portion and second optical portion having different focal lengths, first focal length of first optical portion is smaller than second focal length of second optical portion, and means for adjusting optical focus; and processor. Processor is configured to obtain gaze direction of user; determine region of interest within real-world scene; and control means for adjusting optical focus of imaging unit, based on focal lengths of first and second optical portions, to capture warped image of real-world scene, the warped image having spatially-uniform angular resolution.
Camera transition blending
In general, techniques are described regarding initiating a recursive blending of a plurality of frames following a camera transition. One or more processors may, subsequent to a transition from a first camera mode to a second camera mode, blend one or more pixels of a first frame with one or more pixels of a second frame to produce a first blended frame, the first frame captured via a first camera, and the second frame captured via a second camera. The one or more processors may then output the first blended frame.
VIDEO TRANSMISSION METHOD, VIDEO PROCESSING DEVICE, AND VIDEO GENERATING SYSTEM FOR VIRTUAL REALITY
The disclosure provides a video transmission method for virtual reality. The method includes reorganizing a first video and a second video obtained to generate a third video suitable for transmission through a physical wire, hence avoiding distortion caused by compression of a high-definition video. The disclosure further includes a video processing device and a video generating system employing the video transmission method.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATIC ENHANCEMENT OF VIDEOS
Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a system and method for automatic enhancement of videos, comprising a computing device configured to establish communication with server over network; a video creating module configured to enable a user to record video segments or upload a pre-recorded video segments or photos, the video creating module configured to allow the user to select an option processing template, the video creating module configured to transfer the user recorded video segments to server over network, server comprises automated video enhancement module configured to perform an audio analysis, a video analysis on the user recorded video segments, automated video enhancement module configured to detect contexts of the user recorded video segments on the computing device and applying templates to the user recorded video segments based on the results of the audio analysis, the video analysis, the contexts of the user recorded video segments.
Image processing apparatus, image capture apparatus, and control method for adding an effect of a virtual light source to a subject
With respect to a subject included in an image, the illuminating condition by an ambient light source in an environment where the image was captured is estimated, and based on the estimation result, the effect of a virtual light source that was non-existent at the time of image capture is computed. More specifically, the effect of the virtual light source is computed using an illumination direction of the virtual light source and the reflective characteristics of the subject illuminated by the virtual light source, which have been determined based on the estimation result, and an image derived from addition of the effect of the virtual light source is output.
Mobile terminal for displaying a preview image to be captured by a camera and control method therefor
Disclosed are a mobile terminal and a control method therefor. The mobile terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises: a camera provided to a main body; a display unit for displaying a preview image for the photographing of the camera; and a control unit for detecting the entering into of a subject recognition mode while the preview image is being displayed, and in the subject recognition mode, analyzing objects included in the preview image so as to recognize a subject to be photographed, and applying, to the preview image, a camera effect matched with the recognized subject. In addition, while the matched camera effect is being applied to the preview image, the control unit may further provide, on the display unit, on the basis of a touch input applied to the preview image, a list of camera effects additionally applicable to the recognized subject.
