Systems and methods to facilitate selective dialogue presentation
This disclosure presents systems and methods to facilitate selective dialogue presentation for multimedia presentations. Exemplary implementations may: present visual content of the multimedia presentation on a display device; present effects audio content of the multimedia presentation on a set of audio presentation devices; communication of individual dialogue audio content of the multimedia presentation to individual user devices to cause the individual user devices to present individual dialogue audio content in sync with the presentation of the visual content and/or the effects audio content; and/or other operations.
Wireless audio synchronization using a spread code
Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for synchronizing playback of audiovisual content among multiple speakers. In some embodiments, a first smart speaker receives a spread spectrum signal from a second smart speaker over an audio data channel. The first smart speaker despreads the spread spectrum signal based on a spreading code. The first smart speaker determines a time of receipt of the spread spectrum signal based on the despreading. The first smart speaker receives a time of transmission of the spread spectrum signal. The first smart speaker then calculates a playback delay based on the time of receipt and the time of transmission. Then the first smart speaker controls the playback of the audiovisual content based on the playback delay.
Videoconferencing device and method
A first device is disclosed, which is located at a first site and in communication with a second device located at a second site geographically separated from the first site. The first device includes a controller configured to automatically control selection of a view defining an area of the second site to be displayed by the first device. The controller automatically selects the view based on a display configuration of the first device. The controller is also configured to automatically control selection of a sound of the second site to be rendered by the first device. The controller automatically selecting the sound based on the selected view. The first device also includes a display configured to display the selected view of the second site based on a video image of the second site captured by the second device. The display has the display configuration. The first device further includes a speaker configured to render the selected sound of the second site based on an audio of the second site captured by the second device.
DISPLAY APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROCESSING AUDIO
A display apparatus and a method for processing audio are provided, the display apparatus includes a circuit board provided with a hybrid circuit, a filter circuit and a speaker; the hybrid circuit is configured to receive an original audio signal and superpose a first sub-signal of the original audio signal on a second sub-signal of the original audio signal to obtain a hybrid audio signal; the first sub-signal includes at least one channel of audio signal, the second sub-signal includes at least two channels of audio signal; the filter circuit is configured to filter the hybrid audio signal according to a frequency characteristic of the first sub-signal and the second sub-signal to obtain a restored original audio signal; and the speaker, connected with the filter circuit, is configured to output the restored original audio signal.
Method and apparatus to present multiple audio content
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, identifying first and second users and identifying first and second locations of the first and second users in a presentation area, determining first and second media content associated with the first and second users where the first media content includes first audio content and first video content and where the second media content includes second audio content, presenting the first video content at a display device during a particular time period, adjusting the first audio content resulting in adjusted first audio content, presenting the adjusted first audio content directed to the first location during the particular time period, and presenting the second audio content directed to the second location during the particular time period. Method and apparatus for calibrating an audio playback system
A method, apparatus and computer program product are provided to facilitate calibration of an audio playback system with a video presented upon a display. In the context of a method, information about a display from a first location is received. The method also includes determining an angle of the display based upon the received information about the display and the first location. The method further includes causing an audio playback system associated with the display to be calibrated based upon a modified azimuth of a source of audio signals based upon the determined angle. A corresponding apparatus and computer program product are also provided.
Generating spatial audio using a predictive model
Certain embodiments involve generating and providing spatial audio using a predictive model. For example, a generates, using a predictive model, a visual representation of visual content provideable to a user device by encoding the visual content into the visual representation that indicates a visual element in the visual content. The system generates, using the predictive model, an audio representation of audio associated with the visual content by encoding the audio into the audio representation that indicates an audio element in the audio. The system also generates, using the predictive model, spatial audio based at least in part on the audio element and associating the spatial audio with the visual element. The system can also augment the visual content using the spatial audio by at least associating the spatial audio with the visual content.
Method for synchronizing a first audio signal and a second audio signal
A method for synchronising a first audio signal and a second audio signal coming from a same original audio signal, the method including the steps of: measuring a superimposed sound signal; performing a processing of the superimposed sound signal comprising a calculation of an intercorrelation or autocorrelation function; estimating, from a first processed signal, an absolute value of a time delay between the first audio signal and the second audio signal; modifying at least one characteristic of the first audio signal or the second audio signal; measuring again the superimposed sound signal; performing again the processing of the superimposed sound signal in order to obtain a second processed signal; estimating the sign of the time delay based on the second processed signal; synchronising the first audio signal and the second audio signal.
Audio Synchronization of a Dumb Speaker and a Smart Speaker Using a Spread Code
Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for synchronizing playback of audiovisual content with a dumb speaker. In some embodiments, a display device transmits a spread spectrum signal to a dumb speaker over a data channel using a spread spectrum code. The display device then receives the spread spectrum signal from the dumb speaker over an audio data channel. The display device despreads the spread spectrum signal based on the spreading code. The display device determines a time of receipt of the spread spectrum signal. The display device calculates an audiovisual output path delay for the dumb speaker based on the time of receipt and a time of transmission. The display device then synchronizes the playback of the audiovisual content at the dumb speaker and a smart speaker based on the audiovisual output path delay.
