IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention provides an image processing apparatus (10) including a display image generation unit (11) that generates a display image, a display unit (12) that displays the display image so as to be superimposed on a user's field of vision, an imaging unit (13) that generates a captured image so as to include the user's field of vision, and a recognition unit (14) that analyzes the captured image, and specifies an identification code included in the captured image. The display image generation unit (11) generates the display image having emphasis information displayed at a position corresponding to the specified identification code in the user's field of vision.
SCANNING DISPLAY SYSTEM IN HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY FOR VIRTUAL REALITY
Methods, systems, and computer programs are presented for the presentation of images in a head-mounted display (HMD). One HMD includes a screen, a processor, inertial sensors, a motion tracker module, and a display adjuster module. The motion tracker tracks motion of the HMD based on inertial data from the inertial sensors, and the display adjuster produces modified display data for an image frame to be scanned to the screen if the motion of the HMD is greater than a threshold amount of motion. The display data includes pixel values to be scanned to rows in sequential order, and the modified display data includes adjusted pixel values for pixels in a current pixel row of the image frame to compensate for the distance traveled by the HMD during a time elapsed between scanning a first pixel row of the image frame and scanning the current pixel row of the image frame.
EYEGLASS-TYPE DISPLAY APPARATUS
An eyeglass-type display apparatus includes an eyeglass-front to be placed in front of the eyes of a user, left and right temples connected to the eyeglass-front and worn on the head of the user, a connector that adjusts the inclination of the eyeglass-front by rotating the eyeglass-front relative to the left and right temples, and an image display unit that is fixed to the eyeglass-front and projects image light onto an eyeball of the user. An axis of rotation of the connector is positioned on the eyeglass-front side of the center of the user's eyeball as viewed from the side.
HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY
A head-mounted display configured to enhance the ease of wearing work and the stability of wearing is provided. A wearing band has an extending section and a movable section that is movable relative to the extending section in the length direction of the wearing band. A locking mechanism M is capable of switching the wearing band between an unlocked state in which the movements of the movable section in the extending direction in which the length of the wearing band is increased and in the retracting direction in which the length of the wearing band is decreased are allowed and a locked state in which the movement of the movable section in the extending direction is restricted. The movable section is urged at least in the retracting direction in an unlocked state.
Image display apparatus, image display method, storage medium, and monitoring system
A head-mounted display, a smart phone, a tablet terminal, an electronic book, or the like monitors conditions of the side of a power generation apparatus that charges a battery. An image display apparatus includes a power generation information acquisition means for obtaining power generation information on a power storage amount, a power generation amount, and the like of a secondary battery in each power generation apparatus, appropriately processes the obtained information, and displays it to a user via a display unit. The user can check the power generation amount of the power generation apparatus and the power storage amount of the secondary battery without stopping the use of the image display apparatus. When a power storage amount of a battery in use is lowered, the user can properly judge with which of the power generation apparatuses the user should replace the battery.
Systems and methods for displaying an image or video on a retro-reflective screen
A display system comprises a projector combined with a retro reflective screen and a viewer distance from the projector such that the observation angle is less than approximately 2-3 degrees. The brightness of the image on the screen for the proposed display system is increased by a factor of 100-500 as compared to traditional display systems with for an equivalent power/intensity light source.
HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY
A head-mounted display includes: a main body containing a display; a wearing band extending from the main body to a rear side and having a shape enclosing a head of a user as a whole; a right-side extending section configured to make up a right-side part of the wearing band; a left-side extending section configured to make up a left-side part of the wearing band; a movable section configured to make up a part of a rear side of the wearing band, to link a rear section of the right-side extending section with a rear section of the left-side extending section, and to be movable relative to the right-side extending section and the left-side extending section in a retracting direction in which the length of the wearing band is decreased and in an extending direction in which the length of the wearing band is increased; and a first manipulating member operable by a user and rotatably provided on the movable section with an axis section that extends in a front-rear direction.

Apparatus, method and article for a dual-program display
A system for enabling two different users to independently view and listen to two completely different programs on the same display at the same time is provided. A user wears eyeglasses with filters to filter out light from the program which the user does not want to view, while allowing the light from the program the user does want to view to be seen by the user. Successive frames of a first program are displayed using light polarized in one direction in an alternating manner with frames of a second program using light polarized in another direction. A first user wears glasses with lenses configured to filter out the light from the second program while a second user wears glasses to filter out the light from the first program. Thus, while wearing the glasses, the first user can see the first program while watching the display, but not the second program. Simultaneously, while wearing the other glasses, the second user will see the second program, but not the first program.
