TECHNIQUES FOR ENABLING HIGH FIDELITY MAGNIFICATION OF VIDEO
20230224431 · 2023-07-13 ·

Responsive to a zoom command when presenting a first video, a second video is combined with the first video and presented. The first and second videos are generated from substantially the same camera location as each other at substantially the same time with substantially the same resolution. However, the second video is generated by a physical or virtual lens having a field of view (FOV) smaller than the FOV of a physical or virtual lens used in generating the first video. The technique gives the appearance of zooming without loss of resolution.

Drive recorder, image recording method, and recording medium for image recording

A drive recorder includes: an imaging unit, an image processing unit, a position information acquisition unit, a communication unit, and a function control processing unit. The imaging unit captures an image of a neighborhood of a vehicle. The image processing unit records the image captured by the imaging unit in a recording medium. The position information acquisition unit acquires position information on the vehicle. The communication unit communicates with a server apparatus to deliver information including the position information. The function control processing unit acquires area information transmitted from the server apparatus based on the position information, the area information relating to an area in which the vehicle is located.

An image recording apparatus includes a recording control unit that records a captured image acquired by the camera image acquisition unit in an image file for each of front cameras, and the degree-of-importance determination unit that determines a degree of importance of each of the plurality of image files. The recording control unit continues to record the captured image in a first image file, and executes close processing on the first image file at a timing based on a recordable duration time during which the captured image is continuously recorded in the first image file as an image file having the highest degree of importance when an electric power supply from a main power unit is cut off and the electric power supply source is switched by an electric power supply source switching unit.

Capsule endoscope with a dynamic adjustable color illumination spectrum
11700437 · 2023-07-11 · ·

A capsule endoscope device, system and method for dynamically adjusting a color illumination spectrum. A plurality of different color groups of LEDs may emit light, recorded by an image sensor, corresponding to a plurality of different respective wavelength subranges. A driving circuit may send a driving current to independently activate each different color group of LEDs during entirely or partially non-overlapping time pulses. A single color group of LEDs is independently activated at any one time, and the plurality of different color groups of LEDs are sequentially activated in successive time pulses to simulate a white light or multi-color illumination spectrum over a plurality of the time pulses. The activation pattern of the color groups of LEDs may be dynamically adjusted, in real-time, to achieve a flexible and customizable illumination spectrum ideal for imaging a variety of different environments e.g., in the GI tract.

METHOD FOR DETECTING INTERFERENCE PATTERNS FOR UNDER-SCREEN CAMERA, COMPENSATION METHOD AND CIRCUIT SYSTEM
20230008899 · 2023-01-12 ·

A method for detecting interference patterns for an under-screen camera, a compensation method and a circuit system are provided. The circuit system includes an image-processing circuit and an under-screen camera module. The under-screen camera module captures an image by a lens through a glass substrate of a display module. After receiving the image, the image-processing circuit detects and compensates an interference pattern. In the method, multiple reference points are set in the image, and a brightness average value and a brightness target value for each of the reference points are obtained for calculating an area brightness ratio of the reference points. A binarized image is then obtained. The interference pattern is determined according to symmetrical characteristics of the binarized image. A target matrix is decided for compensating the interference pattern according to weights of all of the reference points of the image.
