A method of classifying video data representing activity within a space to be monitored. A method comprises storing video data obtained from a camera configured to monitor the space. Sensor data indicative of a condition occurring within the space is obtained, and a plurality of programme elements are defined within the video data. Each programme element has an associated classification code, and each classification code is selected using the sensor data.

Software is provided to collect events that transpire during an event. Captured video of the event can then be aligned to the events by calculating an offset between timestamps provided by the devices used to capture the action data and film data. A video clip can be sourced to review events that occurred.

An apparatus configured to, based on first imagery (301) of at least part of a body of a user (204), and contemporaneously captured second imagery (302) of a scene, the second imagery comprising at least a plurality of images taken over time, and based on expression-time information indicative of when a user expression of the user (204) occurs, provide a time window (303) temporally extending from a first time (t-1) prior to the time (t) of the expression-time information, to a second time (t-5) comprising a time equal to or prior to the first time (t-1), the time window (303) provided to identify at least one expression-causing image (305) from the plurality of images of the second imagery (302) that was captured in said time window, and provide for recordal of the at least one expression-causing image (305) with at least one expression-time image (306) comprising at least one image from the first imagery (301).

The present invention enables correct placement of an electronic mark on a frame of captured image data intended by a remote control apparatus performing monitoring. Monitoring image data with a time code is transmitted to an external device. A command (an electronic mark placement command, or the like) to which a time code value showing a command target frame in the monitoring image data is added is received from the remote control apparatus. Processing based on the command is performed on a frame corresponding to the time code value added to the command, among image data corresponding to the monitoring image data recorded on a recording medium.

A printer-equipped imaging apparatus capable of giving new pleasure to a user and clearly recording an imaged scene, an operation method of a printer-equipped imaging apparatus, and a program are provided. The printer-equipped imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit 2 that acquires a captured image of a subject, a text generation unit that generates a text based on a sound emitted by the subject or a sound around the subject, a print unit that prints the captured image acquired by the imaging unit and the text generated by the text generation unit, the print unit printing a combined photograph of the captured image and the text, and a print control unit that causes the print unit to print the combined photograph.

A video collaboration tool is provided that, in some embodiments, features a non-transitory machine-readable storage medium encoded with instructions executable by a hardware processor of a computing component, the machine-readable storage medium comprising instructions to cause the hardware processor to perform a method for an electronic device comprising: repeatedly playing a video clip having a predetermined duration; capturing video of a user of the electronic device while repeatedly playing the video clip; automatically generating a plurality of takes of the video of the user, wherein each take has the predetermined duration of the video clip; and responsive to input of the user: selecting one of the takes, and synchronously playing the selected take and the video clip.

In one embodiment, the system captures a video data stream of a scene and contextual data streams associated with the video data stream. The contextual data streams comprise a sensor data stream or a computed data stream. The system renders an artificial reality effect based on the contextual data streams for display with the video data stream. The system generates a serialized data stream by serializing data chunks of the video data stream and the contextual data streams. The system stores the serialized data stream into a storage. The system extracts the video data stream and one or more of the contextual data streams from the serialized data stream by deserializing the data chunks in the serialized data stream. The system renders the same or another artificial reality effect for display with the extracted video data stream based on the extracted contextual data streams.

An electronic apparatus includes: an input unit that inputs data for imaging conditions for each of a plurality of imaging regions included in an image capturing unit, different imaging conditions being set for each of the imaging regions; and a recording control unit that correlates the data for imaging conditions inputted from the input unit with the imaging regions and records correlated data in a recording unit.

When one or multiple video files that correspond to at least a part of preset sections are read out from a storage unit, a length of time of a section overlap, which represents a time slot that overlaps the section among from one or more time slots over which the read video file(s) are recorded, is calculated, and the video file(s) that corresponds to the time code contained in the section overlap having been subjected to calculation are clipped and stored in a predetermined storage area, the medical video processing system can carry out, when the length of time of the section overlap (for example, 32 minutes and 10 seconds) exceeds a predetermined length of time (for example 30 minutes), a shortening process that shortens the length of time of the video file(s) to be stored in the predetermined storage area, down to a predetermined length of time or shorter.
