METHOD, SYSTEM AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT FOR DISTRIBUTED VIDEO EDITING
A network editor comprises a central location with stored videos such as movies that can be edited by editors at remote locations. An editor receives a representation of a video and specifies edits relative to the representation, enabling the editor to use a device lacking sufficient processing capability to edit the video directly, and also reducing the volume of information transmitted between the central location and the remote editor. The central location is able to provide the edited movie in a format suitable to the display capabilities of the viewing device of the viewer requesting the edited video.

Method and device for bounding an object in a video
The invention relates to a method for bounding an object in a video sequence F.sub.x,y,t. The method includes obtaining a subset of pixels located in the object to annotate, in each frame of the video sequence. Spatio-temporal slicing is performed on the video sequence F.sub.x,y,t, centered on the obtained subsets of pixels, resulting in a first image F.sub.y,t obtained by an horizontal concatenation of first slices, comprising the obtained subsets of pixels, and resulting in a second image F.sub.x,t obtained by a vertical concatenation of second slices. A trajectory of the obtained subsets of pixels is displayed on both the first F.sub.y,t and second F.sub.x,t image. A bounding form around the object to annotate is obtained out of four points in each frame of the video sequence, wherein the coordinates of the four points of a frame t are obtained from the coordinates of the points located in the first and second boundary of the first and second image for that frame t.
VIRTUAL REALITY SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CONTROLLING WORKING STATE THEREOF
A virtual reality system and a method of controlling working state of the virtual reality system. The virtual reality system comprises a video playing device and a virtual reality glasses box, and the virtual reality glasses box utilizes a screen of the video playing device to play a video content, the method comprises: establishing a wired or wireless connection between the video playing device and the virtual reality glasses box; when the video playing device is placed in the virtual reality glasses box, transmitting information of wearing state of the virtual reality glasses box to the video playing device; and controlling a playing state of the video playing device according to the wearing state of the virtual reality glasses box. The present disclosure controls the working state of the virtual reality device by the action of the user operating the device itself, and the user does not need to employ tedious and complicated operations to control each of the devices, which increases usability, and improves user experience.
Media registration and authorization on a media player
The disclosed methods and systems provide for the registry and authorization of media on a media player. The method involves maintaining a registry of registered media. Media to be played by the media player is compared to the maintained registry of registered media. If media is registered, authorization it then required to play the registered media.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM
An information processing apparatus includes a control unit that performs first control processing of deciding an analysis engine for scene detection from among a plurality of analysis engines on the basis of scene detection information for scene detection with respect to an input video, and second control processing of deciding an analysis engine for obtaining second result information related to the scene from among a plurality of analysis engines, on the basis of scene-related information regarding a scene obtained as first result information by the analysis engine decided in the first control processing.

Method of modifying play of an original content form
A method of facilitating modified content play such that modification actions may be implemented during play of original content form. The modification actions may be specified by users to modify the original content form. The modification may be disseminated to subscribers or other users desiring similar content modifications. The method may be useful in social networking systems to allow social members to share commentary and otherwise modify original content forms to include their personal reflections.
Hot video clip extraction method, user equipment, and server
A system including a server, a first terminal and a second terminal, where the server is configured to: send video content to the first terminal and the second terminal, respectively, where the video content includes a first hot clip and a second hot clip; send a first tag of the first hot clip to the first terminal; and send a second tag of the second hot clip to the second terminal; the first terminal is configured to display the first tag on a play time axis of the video content, where the first tag is located in a first location of the play time axis; and the second terminal is configured to display the second tag on the play time axis of the video content, where the second tag is located in a second location of the play time axis.
Electronic device and method for playing back image data
The present disclosure provides an electronic device and method for playing image data. The method for playing back image data in an electronic device includes storing an audiovisual (A/V) data for a predetermined period of time in a memory of the electronic device. The electronic device plays back the A/V data, wherein upon playing back, by the electronic device, the A/V data comprises analyzing an audio signal of the A/V data dynamically to select one of a plurality of sound effects based on the analyzed audio signal. The A/V data is played back by applying the selected sound effect to at least a part of the A/V signal.
