Multi-User Interaction Slates for Improved Video Conferencing
A video conferencing system includes a multi-user interaction slate for the execution of applications having a state that is responsive to inputs from multiple attendees of a video conference. The video conferencing system includes a graphical user interface having video slates provided for video streams and multi-user interaction slates for the execution of code that is responsive to inputs provided at multiple client devices. The video conferencing system can determine a current state of a multi-user interaction slate in response to inputs provided by users of the client devices in association with the multi-user interaction slate. The video conferencing system can provide data for rendering the graphical user interface, including video data associated with the video slates and data indicative of the current state of the multi-user interaction slate.
Distributed session function architecture system and methods
A system, topology, and methods to enable certain session functions to be conducted over many session devices or over a large geographical area via geographically distributed servers. Other embodiments may be described and claimed.
Virtual 3D communications using models and texture maps of participants
A method for conducting a three dimensional (3D) video conference between multiple participants, the method may include determining, for each participant and multiple times during the 3D video conference, updated 3D participant representation information within the virtual 3D video conference environment; and generating, for at least one participant and multiple times during the 3D video conference, an updated representation of a virtual 3D video conference environment, the updated representation of virtual 3D video conference environment represents the updated 3D participant representation information for at least some of the multiple participants; and wherein the 3D participant representation information comprises a 3D model and one or more texture maps.
APTAMERS FOR THE REVERSIBLE INHIBITION OF DNA POLYMERASES
Described herein are methods and compositions for improved polymerase chain reaction (PCR). In one aspect the methods and compositions include improved aptamers to reversibly inhibit polymerase and exonuclease activity of the polymerase enzyme.
Automated Videoconference Systems, Controllers And Methods
A mobile computing device includes a touchscreen configured to display a user interface for receiving user input, memory hardware configured to store computer-executable instructions and information regarding scheduled conference calls, and processor hardware configured to execute the computer-executable instructions. The computer-executable instructions include communicating with a server via one or more wired/and or wireless communication networks, and parsing the information stored on the mobile computing device according to a parsing protocol to obtain information regarding at least one scheduled conference call. The instructions further include, in response to receiving user input via the user interface, transmitting at least a portion of the obtained information regarding the at least one scheduled conference call to the server to control a system controller in communication with the server to initiate the at least one scheduled conference call via a videoconferencing codec.
UPDATING A ROOM ELEMENT WITHIN A VIRTUAL CONFERENCING SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for updating a room element within a virtual conferencing system. The program and method provide for providing, in association with designing a room for virtual conferencing, an interface for setting properties of elements within a room; receiving, via the interface, an indication of first user input setting a property of an element within the room; providing, based on the first user input, a virtual conference between plural participants within the room, the room including the element; receiving, via the interface and during the virtual conference, an indication of second user input updating the property of the element within the room; and updating, based on the second user input and during the virtual conference, the property of the element.
PROVIDING CONTACT INFORMATION WITHIN A VIRTUAL CONFERENCING SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing contact information. The program and method provide for providing for virtual conferencing between plural participants within a room included within a virtual space; providing, for each of the plural participants in the room, display of a participant video element which corresponds to the participant and which includes a user-selectable button for sending contact information to the participant; receiving a first indication of a user selection, by a first participant of the plural participants, of the user-selectable button corresponding to a second participant of the plural participants; receiving, in response to receiving the first indication, a second indication that the second participant authorizes viewing contact information of first participant; and providing, in response to receiving the second indication, the contact information of the first participant for viewing by the second participant.
SYSTEM, METHOD AND COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM FOR VIDEO PROCESSING
The present disclosure relates to a system, a method and a computer-readable medium for video processing. The method includes displaying a live video of a first user in a first region on a user terminal and displaying a video of a second user in a second region on the user terminal. A portion of the live video of the first user extends to the second region on the user terminal. The present disclosure can improve interaction during a conference call or a group call.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ENABLING TWO-WAY COMMUNICATION WITH VIDEO CONFERENCE WAITING ROOMS
One example method includes receiving, from a first client device, a request to join a video conference, the video conference having a main meeting, creating, in response to the request, a sub-meeting associated with the main meeting, connecting the first client device to the sub-meeting, connecting a host client device to the sub-meeting simultaneously with the host client device being connected to the main meeting, the host client device associated with a host of the main meeting, receiving first multimedia content from the first client device, and providing the first multimedia content to the host client device.
SHARED REACTIONS WITHIN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SESSION
Methods and systems provide for the ability to display reactions within a video communication session. First, the system displays, for each of a number of participants within a video communication session, a user interface (UI), with the UI including a reactions session with a variety of selectable visual reactions, a number of participant windows corresponding to participants, and videos of at least a subset of the participants which are displayed within the participant windows. The system receives a selection of a reaction via a video client device connected to the video communication session, where the client device is associated with one of the participants. The system then displays the selected reaction within the UI of at least one of the participants within the corresponding participant windows for a predetermined period of time. Aggregate reactions may be displayed when a number of participants select the same reaction.
