MULTI-MODAL APPROACH TO A SECURE AND CLOSED SOLUTION MONITORING AND CONTROL OF USER DATA
A multi-modal portal system provides an authorization prior to establishing a visual interface connection between a support user or caller and a client user or receiving party. Once the caller is authorized, the caller is permitted to drop-in such that a visual interface connection is established with the receiving party. The authorization can be based on a profile configuration that indicates whether the caller has the credentials required for the visual interface. The authorization can require that a notification be sent to a trusted user or primary contact or the caller can be associated with a profile configuration that allows for a pre-authorization without requiring the notification. By providing such an authorization, a secure and private visual interface with the client user can be accomplished without requiring an express action or consent by the client user.
CAPTURING AND PRESENTING AUDIENCE RESPONSE AT SCALE
One example method includes receiving a plurality of responses during a time period, the plurality of responses each provided by one of a plurality of participants in a video conference hosted by a video conference provider, sampling the plurality of responses to identify a plurality of response characteristics, and then generating a consolidated response based at least in part on the plurality of response characteristics. The example method additionally includes causing the consolidated response to be output to at least one of the plurality of participants.
PROVIDING VIDEO APPEARANCE ADJUSTMENTS WITHIN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Methods and systems provide for video appearance adjustments within a video communication session. First, the system receives video content. The system then receives an appearance adjustment request comprising an adjustment depth, and detects imagery of a user within the video content. The system then detects a face region within the video content. The system segments the face region into a number of skin areas. For each of the plurality of skin areas, the system classifies the skin area as a smooth texture region or rough texture region. If the skin area is classified as a smooth texture region, the system modifies the imagery of the user in real time or substantially real time by applying a smoothing process to the skin area, where the amount of smoothing applied corresponds to the adjustment depth.
DYNAMIC LOW LIGHTING ADJUSTMENT WITHIN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
Methods and systems provide for low lighting adjustments within a video communication session. First, the system receives video content within a video communication session of a video communication platform, the video content having multiple video frames. The system then receives or generates a lighting adjustment request including a lighting adjustment depth, then detects an amount of lighting in the video content. The system then modifies the video content to adjust the amount of lighting, wherein the amount of adjustment of lighting corresponds to the adjustment depth, and wherein adjusting the amount of lighting is performed in real time or substantially real time upon receiving the lighting adjustment request.
TRANSMISSION MANAGEMENT APPARATUS
A transmission management apparatus manages transmission states of a plurality of transmission terminals including a first transmission terminal and a second transmission terminal. The apparatus includes a terminal management table storage unit configured to store therein a terminal management table in which terminal information including an identifier and an identification name of each transmission terminal is managed; a receiving unit configured to receive a terminal information request signal from the first transmission terminal, the terminal information request signal indicating a request for information for identifying the second transmission terminal, the first and second transmission terminals being in transmission therebetween; a terminal state acquisition unit configured to acquire the information for identifying the second transmission terminal from the terminal management table in response to the terminal information request signal; and a transmitting unit configured to transmit the information acquired by the terminal state acquisition unit to the first transmission terminal.
SCREEN CONTROL METHOD AND APPARATUS
A screen control method and an apparatus are provided. The method includes: in a case that a screen of multi-party video communication is displayed, receiving a first input by a first user; and in response to the first input, establishing a first communication connection between a first electronic device and a second electronic device. Both the first electronic device and the second electronic device are electronic devices participating in the multi-party video communication. The first communication connection is used to transmit a control instruction of the second electronic device on a screen display content of the first electronic device. In a case that the control instruction is received, a control operation corresponding to the control instruction is performed on the screen display content of the first electronic device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, DEVICE, SYSTEM, STORAGE MEDIUM, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM PRODUCT
Embodiments of this application provide an information processing method, a device, a system, a storage medium, and a computer program product, and relate to a web conferencing technology. In the method, when a plurality of users join a web conference by using a plurality of participating terminal devices, at least two users may use their own participating terminal devices. In addition, screen sharing is performed by using a web conferencing system. Therefore, the plurality of participating terminal devices in the conference may display, on screens of the plurality of participating terminal devices, information shared by the at least two sharing terminal devices. In this manner, the web conferencing system supports screen sharing performed by a plurality of sharing terminal devices at a same moment, and each sharing terminal device can control the screen sharing. This facilitates information sharing between the pluralities of users, and improves communication efficiency between the users.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMMERSIVE SCENES
One example system for displaying immersive scenes includes a processor and at least one memory device. The memory device includes instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the processor to receive a collection of metadata associated with an immersive scene, identify each of a plurality of properties of the immersive scene based on the collection of metadata, receive a dynamic immersive background, receive a plurality of video streams associated with a video conference, and display each of the plurality of video streams in the immersive scene based at least in part of the plurality of properties of the immersive scene and on the dynamic immersive background.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IMMERSIVE SCENES
One example system for displaying immersive scenes includes a processor and at least one memory device. The memory device includes instructions that are executable by the processor to cause the processor to receive a plurality of video streams associated with a video conference, each of the plurality of video streams having a removable background, receive a dynamic immersive background, receive an instruction, the instruction comprising a plurality of locations within the dynamic immersive background, and display an immersive scene including at least a subset of the plurality of video streams, wherein each video stream is displayed at one of the plurality of locations within the dynamic immersive background.
CONFERENCE SYSTEM CONTENT SHARING
One or more embodiments relate to a computer implemented method that includes extracting file attribute values for multiple files on a conferencing endpoint, and extracting, from a conferencing application, conference attribute values. Responsive to a trigger of a file share via the conferencing application and during a conference call, the computer implemented method further includes selecting a matching file from the multiple files by applying a matching algorithm to the conference attribute values and the file attribute values, and presenting, during the conference call, recommended content including the matching file.
