The first recording of the web conference session may be sent to a repair engine to enable the repair engine to generate a third recording of the web conference session in which a first portion of the first recording is replaced and/or combined with at least a second portion of the second recording. They can use local chat boxes and global chat boxes to chat with the participants of the event. The participants may virtually move from one area to another area of the event using the event layout and sit in a new area of their choosing as they would at an in-person event while watching the streaming of the event thus providing a close to real-life experience of interacting with the event participants.

A server executing a video conferencing service, receives meeting scheduling information and a set of user-specified scripting information from a user requesting to generate an event. In response to receiving a request from user device to access the event, the server causes display of an event interface to the device, the displayed interface including indications of sub-groups of a group of users accessing the conferencing service via a plurality of user devices and an indication of a video feed of a user in the group of users that is currently active. A method for a privacy-aware transcription includes receiving audio-visual signal including audio data and image data for a speech environment and a privacy request from a participant in the speech environment where the privacy request indicates a privacy condition of the participant. The method further includes segmenting the audio data into a plurality of segments. For each segment, the method includes determining an identity of a speaker of a corresponding segment of the audio data based on the image data and determining whether the identity of the speaker of the corresponding segment includes the participant associated with the privacy condition. When the identity of the speaker of the corresponding segment includes the participant, the method includes applying the privacy condition to the corresponding segment. The method also includes processing the plurality of segments of the audio data to determine a transcript for the audio data.

Example methods and systems provide a participant attending a videoconference with a user interface indicator that signals access to personal information. More particularly, the indicator can signal that a companion application being used by attendees of the videoconference is accessing or has accessed videoconference meeting data that includes the personal information. In some examples, the participant can subsequently interact with the user interface to obtain additional information about the companion application. For example, the participant may be able to display user identifiers of the attendees using the companion application and/or a description of the companion application.
