METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROCESSING CONFERENCE USING AVATAR
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium may storing instructions that, when executed by a processor, cause the processor to set a communication session for a conference in which a plurality of users participates through a server, transmit, to the server, an identifier of an avatar to be represented on a virtual space for the conference and coordinate information of the avatar in the virtual space, receive, from the server, resources of neighboring avatars selected based on the coordinate information, transmit, to the server, motion data of the avatar through the communication session, receive, from the server, motion data of the neighboring avatars through the communication session, and represent the neighboring avatars on the virtual space based on the resources of the neighboring avatars and the motion data of the neighboring avatars.
Contextual-based rendering of virtual avatars
Examples of systems and methods for rendering an avatar in a mixed reality environment are disclosed. The systems and methods may be configured to automatically scale an avatar or to render an avatar based on a determined intention of a user, an interesting impulse, environmental stimuli, or user saccade points. The disclosed systems and methods may apply discomfort curves when rendering an avatar. The disclosed systems and methods may provide a more realistic interaction between a human user and an avatar.
Multiuser asymmetric immersive teleconferencing with synthesized audio-visual feed
Embodiments described herein enable a teleconference among host-side user(s) at a host site and remotely located client-side user(s), wherein a host device is located at the host site, and wherein each of the client-side user(s) uses a respective client device to participate in the teleconference. A host site audio-visual feed is received from the host device. A client data feed is received from the client device of each client-side user. Orientation information for the respective client-side user using a client device is also received. Each client device is provided with the host site audio-visual feed or a modified version thereof. The host device is provided with, for each client device, the client data feed and the orientation information of the client-side user that is using the client device. This enables host-side and client-side users to display visual representations of one another with their respective orientations.
Integration of remote audio into a performance venue
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for validating and publishing workflows from remote environments. In some implementations, a link that includes at least one of audio data and video data is established between a wireless device of a remote participant and a computational mixer. A profile for the remote participant is referenced. A venue signal related to the at least one audio data and video data is generated based on the profile for the remote participant and using the computational mixer. The venue signal is transmitted.
USER-CONFIGURABLE SPATIAL AUDIO BASED CONFERENCING SYSTEM
A client device receives an arrangement of at least a subset of participants of a virtual meeting. The client device additionally receives an audio stream for each participant of the subset of participants of the virtual meeting. For each participant of the subset of participants, the client device determines a location based at least in part on the received arrangement, and modulates the received audio stream of the participant based on the determined location. The client device generates a combined modulated audio stream by combining the modulated audio stream of each of the participants and plays the combined modulated audio stream.
Method and system for making context based announcements during a communication session
A method, system, device to play context-based announcement to specific participants during an active communication session. The method includes receiving a context-based announcement for a participant while the participant is in the active communication session. The method also includes monitoring the communication session, to determine a time when the context-based announcement should be played to the participant. The method further includes playing the context-based announcement to the participant at the determined time. The method may also include displaying to the participant a visual alert associated with the context-based announcement, the visual alert may include controls that allows the participant to select when the announcement is played.
Resituating avatars in a virtual environment
Disclosed herein are aspects for resituating avatars in a virtual environment. An aspect begins by rendering the virtual environment, including a first avatar and a second avatar. The virtual environment is rendered on a first device, belonging to a first user, and from a perspective of a first virtual camera controlled by the first user. The first avatar represents the first user at a location of the first virtual camera. The second user views the virtual environment from a perspective of a second virtual camera at a location of the second avatar. The aspect then provides several operations from the perspective of the first virtual camera. First, the aspect continues by determining a new location for a perceived avatar relative to the first avatar. The perceived avatar corresponds to the second avatar. Then, the aspect concludes by resituating the perceived avatar to the new location.
ANIMATED CHAT PRESENCE
The present invention relates to a method for generating and causing display of a communication interface that facilitates the sharing of emotions through the creation of 3D avatars, and more particularly with the creation of such interfaces for displaying 3D avatars for use with mobile devices, cloud based systems and the like.
DIGITAL ASSISTANT INTERACTION IN A VIDEO COMMUNICATION SESSION ENVIRONMENT
This relates to an intelligent automated assistant in a video communication session environment. An example method includes, during a video communication session between at least two user devices, and at a first user device: receiving a first user voice input; in accordance with a determination that the first user voice input represents a communal digital assistant request, transmitting a request to provide context information associated with the first user voice input to the first user device; receiving context information associated with the first user voice input; obtaining a first digital assistant response based at least on a portion of the context information received from the second user device and at least a portion of context information associated with the first user voice input that is stored on the first user device; providing the first digital assistant response to the second user device; and outputting the first digital assistant response.
PROVIDING SIDE CONVERSATIONS WITHIN A VIRTUAL CONFERENCING SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing a program and method for providing side conversations within a virtual conferencing system. The program and method provide, in association with a virtual conference among plural participants, a first audio channel for sharing among the plural participants; provide, for each of the plural participants, display of a participant video element which corresponds to the participant and which includes a user-selectable button to initiate a side conversation with the participant; receive indication of a user selection, by a first participant, of the user-selectable button for initiating a side conversation with a second participant of the plural participants; and provide a second audio channel from a first device associated with the first participant to a second device associated with the second participant, in conjunction with providing the first audio channel to the second device.
