An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) logs first UAV information at a first frequency. The UAV triggers a camera associated with the UAV to capture an image. In response to triggering the camera to capture the image, the UAV logs second UAV information at a second frequency that is higher than the first frequency. A device that is separate from the UAV identifies a location of the UAV corresponding to the image based on a capture timestamp of the image received from the camera, the first UAV information, and the second UAV information. The device generates a geo-rectified imagery based on the image and the location of the UAV.

CONTROLLING LIGHTING LOADS TO ACHIEVE A DESIRED LIGHTING PATTERN

A visible light sensor may be configured to sense environmental characteristics of a space using an image of the space. The visible light sensor may be controlled in one or more modes, including a daylight glare sensor mode, a daylighting sensor mode, a color sensor mode, and/or an occupancy/vacancy sensor mode. In the daylight glare sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to decrease or eliminate glare within a space. In the daylighting sensor mode and the color sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to provide a preferred amount of light and color temperature, respectively, within the space. In the occupancy/vacancy sensor mode, the visible light sensor may be configured to detect an occupancy/vacancy condition within the space and adjust one or more control devices according to the occupation or vacancy of the space. The visible light sensor may be configured to protect the privacy of users within the space via software, a removable module, and/or a special sensor.

System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.

An imaging system includes: an unmanned flight vehicle; an imager that is mounted on the unmanned flight vehicle and takes an image of a robot which performs work with respect to a target object; a display structure which is located away from the unmanned flight vehicle and displays the image taken by the imager to a user who manipulates the robot; and circuitry which controls operations of the imager and the unmanned flight vehicle. The circuitry acquires operation related information that is information related to an operation of the robot. The circuitry moves the unmanned flight vehicle such that a position and direction of the imager are changed so as to correspond to the operation related information.

Methods, systems, and devices are described for communicating data from multiple data terminals to an aggregator terminal over a communication link having changing link conditions. In some embodiments, source data is received at multiple data terminals, each in communication with an aggregator terminal over a communication link. For example, during a live newscast, one mobile camera may receive live video of an event from a first position while another mobile camera receives live video of the event from a second position. For various reasons (e.g., as the cameras move) each communication link may experience independently changing link conditions. Each data terminal encodes the source data (or store source data for later encoding) as a function of its respective link conditions and transmits encoded source data over its respective communication link to the aggregator terminal.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure increase the technical utility of a recording device and local recording device system by enabling a recording device to use a machine learning model to process media content received from a separate recording device. This allows a machine learning model to be used to process media content at a local system without a remote network connection or independent of whether a remote computing system is available over a network connection. Many embodiments eliminate the need for a separate computing device altogether for purposes of using a machine learning model. Embodiments of the present disclosure also decrease the time required to complete processing of a media file by processing the media file in parallel among multiple recording devices and/or by eliminating time associated with uploading a media file to cloud-based system and receiving one or more output values back from the cloud-based system.

The apparatus for the real-time monitoring of construction objects includes: a communication unit configured to receive image data acquired by photographing a construction site, and to transmit safety information to an external device; and a monitoring unit provided with a prediction model pre-trained using binary image sequences of construction objects at the construction site as training data, and configured to detect a plurality of construction objects from image frames included in image data received via the communication unit and convert the detected construction objects into binary images, to generate future frames by inputting the resulting binary images to the prediction model, and to derive proximity between the construction objects by comparing the generated future frames with the resulting binary images and generate the safety information.

A system and method for using a body-worn camera for virtual conferencing. A method includes connecting a wearable device to at least one of an electronic locking mechanism or a user device, and receiving a signal indicating the electronic locking mechanism is unlocked using a user device. The method can also include capturing video data to start a virtual session between the wearable device and a remote user device responsive to the signal indicating the electronic locking mechanism is unlocked, and transmitting video data to at least one user device or the remote user device.
