When the information processing device is switched from a first state where the first operation screen is operable to a second state where the second operation screen is operable, the control unit causes the second operation screen where an item corresponding to a predetermined item selected on the first operation screen in the first state is selected, to be displayed in the second state.

Position and size adjustment support method and position and size adjustment support device for display appratus and imaging appratus

A position and size adjustment support method supports an adjustment work to achieve a predetermined position and size relation between a display range of a display apparatus and a shooting range of an imaging apparatus. An image of at least a part of the display range is shot by the imaging apparatus. A position and size relation between the display range and the shooting range is calculated based on the image. At least one of a moving direction and a size change direction of at least one of the display range and the shooting range is calculated, based on the position and size relation calculated, the moving direction and the size change direction being used to change the position and size relation to the predetermined position and size relation. Adjustment guide information providing with the at least one of the moving direction and the size change direction calculated is output.

In one embodiment the method includes receiving by a processing element a plurality of test images corresponding to test patterns projected by the projector on a projection surface, where each of the test patterns include at least two points, comparing by the processing element the plurality of test images to assess one or more projector characteristics related to a distance between the two points, generating by the processing element a projector model representing the one or more projector characteristics, and utilizing the model to determine a projection path of the projector for the content.

System for performing distortion correction and calibration using pattern projection, and method using the same

Disclosed are a system and method for performing distortion correction and calibration using a pattern projected by a projector. The system for performing distortion correction and calibration includes a projector that projects a pattern, at least one camera that generates a photographed pattern image by photographing an image onto which the pattern is projected, and an image processing device that calculates a calibration parameter by comparing an original pattern image projected by the projector and the photographed pattern image. Thus, it is possible to obtain an accurate depth image by easily utilizing an image for the pattern projected by the projector. In addition, when obtaining the depth image, the calibration parameter for correcting image distortion according to camera lens and a calibration state of cameras may be efficiently obtained using the pattern projected by the projector.

The imager is configured to capture an image of a surface of the object. The evaluator is configured to calculate an amount of shape change of a virtual image of the two-dimensional pattern in the image, and evaluate texture of the object based on the amount of shape change and sensory evaluation information obtained in advance.

Self-testing display device

A self-calibrating display can detect and compensate for binocular disparity or other visual imperfection of the display. The display includes a pair of projection units for projecting test light carrying test images through waveguides, which are normally used to carry images to left and right eyes of a user. A detection unit detects the test light propagated through the waveguides, and extracts the test images. Position of reference features in the detected test images may be used to determine binocular disparity, and luminance and color distribution across the test images may be used to determine the illumination and color uniformity of the images displayed to the user. After the visual defects have been detected, they may be reduced or compensated for by pre-emphasizing or shifting images to be displayed to the left and right eyes of the user.
