Mobile terminal and method for controlling the same
The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of capturing videos, and a method of controlling the same. The mobile terminal includes a display unit capable of outputting a first video captured in response to a preset user input, and outputting a timeline of the first video in a camera preview mode, a camera capable of capturing a second video consecutive to the first video, in response to a preset user input, and a controller capable of storing the first video and the second video as one full video, and outputting a timeline of the full video, which a timeline of the second video follows the timeline of the first video, in the camera preview mode.
Data access control method and apparatus
One embodiment of the present invention discloses a data access method comprising: (a) receiving a plurality of data units consisting of filtered data units and un-filtered data units; (b) filtering the filtered data units; (c) storing the un-filtered data units; (d) recovering the timings of the un-filtered data units stored in the step (c) according to the received timings of the data units received in the step (a); (e) inserting replacement data units to replace the filtered data units, wherein each of the replacement data units has the same timing as each of the filtered data units; and (f) outputting the un-filtered data units and the replacement data units according to the timings of the un-filtered data units and the timing of the replacement data unit.
Multi-frame patch correspondence identification in video
A method and systems of identifying one or more patches in three or more frames in a video are provided. A region in a reference frame of the video may be detected. A set of regions in a prior frame and subsequent frame that are similar to the region in the reference frame may then be identified. Temporal consistency between the region in the reference frame and two or more regions in the set of regions in the prior and subsequent frames may then be calculated. Patches of regions in the first, reference, and third frames may be identified based at least in part on the calculated temporal consistencies, with each patch identifying a region in the reference frame that can be mapped to a similar region in the prior and subsequent frames.
Distributed database management system
A distributed database management system provides a central database resident on a server that contains database objects. Objects, e.g., program guide data, to be replicated are gathered together into distribution packages called slices, that are transmitted to client devices. A slice is a subset of the central database which is relevant to clients within a specific domain, such as a geographic region, or under the footprint of a satellite transmitter. The viewer selects television programs and Web content from displayed sections of the program guide data which are recorded to a storage device. The program guide data are used to determine when to start and end recordings. Client devices periodically connect to the server using a phone line and upload information of interest which is combined with information uploaded from other client devices for statistical, operational, or viewing models.
Reduction of sensor captured data streamed to an operator
Systems, methods and computer storage mediums reduce an amount of data captured by a plurality of sensors on a vehicle that is streamed to an operator of the vehicle. Embodiments relate to processing the real-time data captured by the plurality of sensors so that required real-time data that is necessary for the operator to adequately monitor the target area is streamed in real-time to the operator while discarding the unnecessary real-time data. The discarded real-time data is replaced by a three-dimensional virtual model that is a virtual representation of the target area. The three-dimensional virtual model is generated based on previously captured data of the target area. The processed real-time data required by the operator is integrated into the three-dimensional virtual model. The processed real-time data that is integrated into the three-dimensional virtual model is streamed to the operator.
Method and apparatus for detecting quality defects in a video bitstream
There is provided an apparatus for detecting a quality defect in a video sequence, the apparatus comprising: a receiver arranged to receive a video bitstream representing a video sequence; and a defect module arranged to determine a measure of quantization parameter for each picture of the video sequence, the defect module further arranged to identify a quality defect when an abrupt change in the measure of quantization parameter occurs.
Method for determining bit rate and apparatus therefor
The present invention relates to a method for controlling a bit rate and an apparatus therefor, and more specifically to an apparatus for storing a bit rate changed according to a significant level in a memory and a method for determining the bit rate, which meets the requirements for the distortion according to the memory space limitation and the significant level of the image information so as to minimize the energy consumption.
