An agricultural vehicle including a chassis and a sectional header system carried by the chassis. The sectional header system includes a center section connected to the chassis, at least one additional section, and at least one coupling assembly that removably connects the center section to the at least one additional section. The at least one coupling assembly includes at least one actuator connected to the center section and the at least one additional section. The at least one actuator is located underneath the pivot point. The at least one additional section is configured for being coupled to the center section in harvesting of a crop material and decoupled from the center section and subsequently towable in transportation of the sectional header system.

Implement control system and method

A boom mower attachment that moves a cutting mechanism in a first movement, a second movement, and a third movement by only using two motions of a single control and method of use thereof is provided. The boom mower may include a frame, a boom assembly carried by the frame, a cutting mechanism operably engaged with the boom assembly, and at least one translation assembly operably engaged with the boom assembly and the cutting mechanism that moves the cutting mechanism in one or more of the first movement, the second movement, and the third movement. An implement control system including a control, at least one function switching mechanism, and an implement is also provided. Activation of the control is operative to move the implement in a first mode, a second mode, and a third mode by only using two motions of the control.

A header floatation system that includes a floatation mechanism which includes a first end and a second end opposite the first end, a first floatation adjustment array which includes at least a first contact point, a floatation mechanism mount which includes at least a second contact point, and a floatation mechanism fastener. The first end of the floatation mechanism can be mechanically linked to the floatation mechanism mount. Either the first floatation adjustment array or the floatation mechanism mount can include a third contact point. The floatation mechanism fastener can be positioned adjacent to, on, or through at least the first or second contact points aligning contact between the floatation mechanism mount and the first floatation adjustment array.

An agricultural vehicle header having: a frame, a support arm having a proximal end rotatably mounted by a support arm pivot to the frame and a distal end spaced from the proximal end, a torque transfer anchor rigidly attached to the frame, a support torque rod having a distal end rotationally fixed to the support arm, and a proximal end rotatably mounted to the torque transfer anchor to rotate about a first axis, a frame torque rod having a proximal end rotatably mounted to the torque transfer anchor to rotate about a second axis and a distal end rotationally fixed to the frame, and a drive linkage connecting the support torque rod to the frame torque rod at the torque transfer anchor, to transfer a rotational motion of the support torque rod about the first axis into an opposite rotational motion of the frame torque rod about the second axis.

An arm assembly for an agricultural header includes an arm configured to rotate about a pivot axis relative to a frame of the agricultural header and configured to support a cutter bar assembly of the agricultural header. The arm assembly also includes a mounting bracket assembly configured to couple the arm to the frame, one or more fasteners configured to couple the arm to the mounting bracket assembly, and a plate configured to maintain a tension of the one or more fasteners with respect to the arm and the mounting bracket assembly.

A control system for an agricultural system includes a first controller configured to receive sensor information from a plurality of sensors, in which the sensor information is indicative of a height of a header of the agricultural system, and the first controller is configured to convert the sensor information into position data. The control system further includes a second controller communicatively coupled to the first controller, in which the second controller is configured to receive the position data from the first controller, and the second controller is configured to determine a target position of the header based on the position data.

A locking mechanism includes a pin configured to movably couple to a first element of an agricultural header, wherein the first element includes one of an arm and a frame. The locking mechanism also includes a mount configured to couple to a second element of the agricultural header, wherein the second element includes the other of the arm and the frame. The pin is disposed within an opening of the mount, the opening has a first portion configured to receive the pin while the pin is in a first position and to block relative movement between the pin and the mount to block rotation of the arm, and the opening has a second portion configured to receive the pin while the pin is in a second position and to enable relative movement between the pin and the mount to enable rotation of the arm.
