Methods and systems for displaying content

Disclosed are methods and systems for displaying content. In an aspect, a plurality of content items can be displayed on one user device according to user preference. An example method can comprise positioning a first set of pixels associated with a user device so that first content displayed via the first set of pixels can be viewable in a first viewing location. A second set of pixels associated with the user device can be positioned so that second content displayed via the second set of pixels can be viewable in a second viewing location. The second content can be different from the first content.

Holographic reality system, multiview display, and method

A holographic reality system and multiview display monitor a user position and provide virtual haptic feedback to the user. The holographic reality system includes a multiview display configured to display a multiview image, a position sensor configured to monitor the user position, and a virtual haptic feedback unit configured to provide the virtual haptic feedback. An extent of the virtual haptic feedback corresponds to an extent of a virtual control within the multiview image. The holographic reality multiview display includes an array of multiview pixels configured to provide different views of the multiview image by modulating directional light beams having directions corresponding to the different views and an array of multibeam elements configured to provide the directional light beams to corresponding multiview pixels.

Stereoscopic display

A stereoscopic display, including a display panel and a lenticular plate is provided. The display panel has multiple pixels arranged in an array. The lenticular plate has multiple lenticulars. Each of the lenticulars extends along an extending direction, and the lenticulars are arranged along a periodical direction. The pixels are divided into multiple group. The lenticular plate transmits lights emitted by the pixels of different groups towards multiple different viewing zones, so as to form a stereoscopic vision. In the periodical direction, a pitch of the pixels of the same group is greater than a pitch of the lenticulars.

MULTI-VIEWPOINT 3D DISPLAY APPARATUS, DISPLAY METHOD AND DISPLAY SCREEN CORRECTION METHOD
20220417491 · 2022-12-29 ·

A method for realizing multi-viewpoint 3D display screen correction is provided, comprising: determining a correction area in a multi-viewpoint 3D display screen, and detecting a reference correlation between subpixels in composite subpixels in composite pixels in the multi-viewpoint 3D display screen and viewpoints of the multi-viewpoint 3D display screen; and determining a correction correlation between the subpixels in the correction area and the viewpoints based on the reference correlation. The method can reduce the difficulty in correcting an actual correlation between the pixels and the viewpoints. A multi-viewpoint 3D display method, a multi-viewpoint 3D display apparatus, a computer-readable storage medium, and a computer program product are also provided.

DYNAMIC ADJUSTMENT OF PARALLEL REALITY DISPLAYS

In an approach for dynamically adjusting parallel reality (PR) displays, a processor configures a viewing event. A processor receives data from data collecting devices located throughout a location of the viewing event. A processor classifies a crowd of the viewing event into at least two partitions using a learning-based neural network that ingests the data. A processor selects content to be displayed to each of the at least two partitions. A processor enables a PR display to simultaneously display the content to each of the at least two partitions.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY DEVICE, CONTROLLER, THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY METHOD, THREE-DIMENSIONAL DISPLAY SYSTEM, AND MOVABLE OBJECT

A three-dimensional display device includes a display panel, an optical panel, and a controller. The display panel displays a parallax image. The optical panel defines a traveling direction of image light. The controller controls the parallax image based on positions of a first eye and a second eye of a user. The controller causes a predetermined proportion of pixels to display a black image. The predetermined proportion is determined to cause, for the first and second eyes of the user at a predetermined reference position, a black image to be displayed by a pixel at one end or two ends of multiple first areas viewable to the first eye and not viewable to the second eye and by a pixel at one end or two ends of multiple second areas viewable to the second eye and not viewable to the first eye in a parallax direction.

DISPLAY PANEL, DISPLAY METHOD THEREOF AND DISPLAY DEVICE

A display panel, a display method thereof and a display device are provided. The display panel includes cylindrical lens array on light emitting side of display substrate. The display substrate includes back plate, pixel definition layer and sub-pixel unit array on back plate. Each sub-pixel unit is in pixel region defined by pixel definition layer and includes at least two secondary sub-pixels; and cylindrical lenses are corresponding to sub-pixel units, each cylindrical lens has cylindrical surface away from back plate, and focus point on surface of a sub-pixel unit away from back plate. In the display panel, multi-viewpoints parallax 3D display compatible with near-to-eye light field display and 2D display with sub-pixels of same gray scale is achieved, effectively reducing the crosstalk, improving Moire phenomenon and increasing stereo perception of the parallax 3D display and solving visual fatigue due to conflict between monocular focusing and binocular convergence.
