Light Field Display System Based Amusement Park Attraction
A light filed (LF) display system for displaying holographic content to viewers in an amusement park (e.g., as part of an amusement park ride). The LF display system in an amusement park includes LF display modules tiled together to form an array of LF modules. In some embodiments, the LF display system includes a tracking system and/or a viewer profiling module. The tracking system and viewer profiling module can monitor and store characteristics of viewers on the amusement park ride, a viewer profile describing a viewer, and/or responses of viewers to the holographic content during the amusement park ride. The holographic content created for display on an amusement park ride can be based on any of the monitored or stored information.

AUDIENCE SEGMENTATION BASED ON VIEWING ANGLE OF A USER VIEWING A VIDEO OF A MULTI-ANGLE VIEWING ENVIRONMENT
Audience segmentation can be based on a viewing angle of a user viewing a video of a multi-angle viewing environment. During playback, a sequence of the user-controlled viewing angles of the video are recorded. The sequence represents the viewing angle of the user at a given point in time. Based on the sequences of several users, a predominant sequence of viewing angles of the video is determined. One or more audience segment tags are assigned to the predominant sequence of viewing angles. During subsequent playbacks of the video, the sequence(s) of user-controlled viewing angles of the video are recorded. The recorded sequence(s) of the subsequent user(s) are compared to the predominant sequence of viewing angles of the video, and the subsequent user(s) are assigned to an audience segment based on the comparison and the corresponding audience segment tags.
Three-dimensional image processing apparatus and method for adjusting location of sweet spot for displaying multi-view image
A three-dimensional image processing apparatus and a method for controlling a location of a sweet spot for displaying a multi-view image are disclosed. A receiver receives a multi-view image including a plurality of view images. A controller detects a plurality of users from an image obtained by taking a watching zone, acquires user location information indicating locations of the plurality of detected users, calculates distance information indicating a distance between the detected users by using the acquired user location information, and controls a location of a sweet spot for viewing the plurality of view images on the basis of the calculated distance information and a length of a dead zone of the multi-view image.
Stereoscopic endoscope system
A stereoscopic endoscope system includes a stereoscopic endoscope and an identification information combining section. The stereoscopic endoscope is provided with an R image pickup section and an R output section which are provided on a right side of an endoscope body, an L image pickup section and an L output section which are provided on a left side of the endoscope body, and an R memory and an L memory which store correction information for either right or left and identification information. The right and left image pickup sections and the right and left memories are correctly or incorrectly combined and are connected to the right and left output sections. The identification information combining section performs image combination of an image and identification information inputted from the R output section or an image and identification information inputted from the L output section and outputs a combined image.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SIMULTANEOUS ADAPTIVE CONTENT VIEWING ON SECONDARY CONTENT DISPLAY MEDIUM
The present teaching relates to dynamic content delivery. When request signals are received from different viewers in a room for flexible display of content of respective viewing programs, the locations of the signals are detected. A changing field of view associated with each viewer is determined based on sensor data from a corresponding sensor allocated to monitor the viewer at the detected signal location. For each viewer, a pose of a secondary content display medium is determined with respect to the changing field of view associated with the viewer. The content of a program viewed by each viewer is presented on the associated secondary content display medium via a content delivery mechanism selected based on the viewer's changing field of view and configured according to the pose of the secondary content display medium associated therewith.

3D ARTS VIEWING ON DISPLAY DEVICES
An apparatus for three dimensional (3D) art viewing includes one or more sensors and a processor operably coupled to the one or more sensors. The processor is configured to detect, using the one or more sensors, a position of a user. The processor is additionally configured to output, for display, an aspect of an image based on the position of the user. The processor is also configured to obtain, using the one or more sensors, movement data associated with a movement of the user. The processor is further configured to apply temporal smoothing to smooth the movement data. In addition, the processor is configured to map the smoothed movement data to a series of view indices. The processor is also configured to change the aspect of the image for display based on the mapped series of view indices.

Multi-view display control
A multi-view display controller determines view angles for each view of a multi-view media content for each viewer watching a multi-view display. The view angles determined for a viewer collectively define a viewer cone that displays the views onto the viewer. Media data of the multi-view media content is output together with information of the determined view angles to the multi-view display in order to allow each viewer to have the same experience of displayed media content regardless of where the viewer is positioned relative to the multi-view display.
