A rotary display device includes a display module, a rotating shaft, a transmission apparatus, an acquisition apparatus and a control apparatus. The transmission apparatus is configured to drive the display module to rotate with the rotating shaft. The control apparatus is configured to: receive information of picture(s), acquired by the acquisition apparatus, of an outside of the display module and determine whether a picture includes face figure(s); if no face figure is included in the picture, control the display module to display images in a first condition; if the face figure(s) are included in the picture, control the display module to display images in a second condition. A second refresh rate in the second condition is greater than a first refresh rate in the first condition, and a second color depth in the second condition is greater than a first color depth in the first condition.

A drive system for a projection screen in a swept surface volumetric 3D display is disclosed. The drive system causes the projection screen to reciprocate through an excursion distance at a screen reciprocating frequency relative to a projection system. The drive system includes an actuator arrangement for generating an input reciprocating force substantially at the screen reciprocating frequency through an input excursion distance and a support structure for the projection screen. The support structure includes a resonant mounting arrangement for the projection screen. The resonant mounting arrangement is operably connected to the actuator arrangement and configured to allow the projection screen to reciprocate through the excursion distance. The resonant mounting arrangement is configured to have a resonant frequency substantially equivalent to the screen reciprocating frequency on actuation of the actuator arrangement. A gaming console incorporating a swept surface volumetric 3D display based on the drive system is also disclosed.

The media file includes a first portion that is a bitstream of media data of the haptic media and a second portion that is relationship indication information indicating an association relationship between the haptic media and at least a non-haptic media. Also, the bitstream is decoded according to the relationship indication information to obtain the media data for presenting the haptic media. Apparatus and non-transitory computer-readable storage medium counterpart embodiments are also contemplated.
