System and method for forming three-dimensional structures
A system and method for forming 3D printed structures on a base component includes extruding material through a nozzle while moving the nozzle vertically. Extruded material flows from the nozzle and spreads outwardly upon contact with an underlying portion of material. The outward spread of material is controlled to form a desired geometry for the 3D printed structure. An optical sensing device may provide feedback for controlling the outward spread of material. Using a molding component, structures with anchored portions extending through openings in the base component can be formed.
Articles of footwear and sole structures with pressure-mapped midsole topographies and inlaid outsoles
Presented are footwear sole structures with pressure-mapped midsole topographies and inlaid wear-mitigating outsoles, methods for making/using such sole structures, and footwear fabricated with such sole structures. An article of footwear includes an upper for receiving and attaching to a foot of a user, and a sole structure attached to the upper for supporting thereon the user's foot. The sole structure includes a midsole that is formed with a first material having a first hardness, and an outsole that is mounted to the midsole and formed with a second material that is harder than the first material. The midsole has a ground-facing surface with multiple cavities, multiple channels interspersed with the cavities, and ground-contacting land segments that separate the cavities from the channels. The outsole is disposed in the channels and positioned between the cavities such that a ground-contacting outsole surface is substantially flush with the midsole's ground-contacting land segments.
Footwear having auxetic structures with controlled properties
An article of footwear includes a sole incorporating a plurality of apertures extending from an upper surface. The article of footwear further includes a strobel that may be placed along the auxetic structure of the sole. The strobel may restrict the flexure of the sole in particular locations to varying degrees.

Laceless shoe
Described is a shoe upper for a shoe, in particular an athletic shoe, wherein the shoe upper is laceless and comprises: (a.) a lateral portion; (b.) a medial portion; and (c.) at least an elastic intermediate portion between the lateral portion and the medial portion, wherein the stiffness of at least one of the lateral portion and the medial portion is at least 2 times higher than the stiffness of the elastic intermediate portion.
FOOTWEAR PLATE
A plate for an article of footwear includes a substrate, a first strand portion attached to the substrate via first stitching, and a second strand portion disposed on the first layer. The first strand portion includes first segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a first layer on the substrate. The second strand portion includes second segments that each extend between two different locations along the substrate to form a second layer on the first layer.
Non-slip shoe capable of absorbing shock
Provided is a non-skid shoe capable of absorbing shock including: an outsole; a plurality of accommodation grooves formed on the outsole, the accommodation groove including a groove portion, and a penetrated portion extending from the groove portion and penetrating the outsole; a support member which is accommodated in the respective accommodation grooves, and includes a support portion disposed in the groove portion, a first guide portion formed at a center of the support portion, and a second guide portion extending from the first guide portion and penetrating a bottom surface of the support portion; a movable member which is disposed in the respective support members, and includes a latch portion and a protruding portion; a pressing member engaged to an upper portion of the first guide portion; a resilient member disposed in the first guide portion; and a midsole engaged to the top surface of the outsole.
SOLE STRUCTURES INCLUDING POLYOLEFIN PLATES AND ARTICLES OF FOOTWEAR FORMED THEREFROM
A variety of plates for footwear are provided including a polyolefin resin. Sole structures and articles of footwear formed therefrom are also provided. Methods of making the polyolefin resin compositions, plates, sole structures, and articles of footwear are also provided. In some aspects, the polyolefin resin composition includes an effective amount of a polymeric resin modifier. The effective amount can be an amount effective to allow the resin composition to pass a flex test, and in particular to pass a flex test without significant change in abrasion loss. In some aspects, the resin composition also includes a clarifying agent to improve optical clarity of the plate. In some aspects, the plates include a textile disposed on one or both of a first side and the second side of the plate. The textile can provide for improved bonding of the plate to other components such as a chassis or an upper.
WORK SHOE
A work shoe, in particular for use in leveling work and/or filling work and/or for aerating a lawn, is designed such that a wearer's foot can be introduced into the shoe via an opening and the work shoe is provided with downwardly projecting spacer elements.
SPIKE AND KEY SYSTEM AND METHOD
A spike and key system is provided that includes a spike having a conical tip with a hole extending therethrough, and a key member including a first key having a racetrack shaped opening, and a second key having a rotatable key member designed to interact with the hole in the spike.
