Footwear with Aligned Tensile Restraints
A shoe may include an upper and a sole structure. The upper may include a shell and first, second, third, and fourth sets of tensile restraints. Each of the sets may have one or more tensile restraints extending over and/or through a corresponding portion of the shell. The shell may be engaged with the sole structure and define an interior void configured to receive insertion of a user's foot. The first, second, third, and fourth sets of tensile restraints may be configured so that, upon securing of one or more structures to tighten the upper and connect the sets of tensile restraints, two linear axes of tension with anchors located in the forefoot and heel region extend diagonally across the article from one side to the other.
Shoe sole
A shoe sole (100) comprising a bottom surface, the bottom surface having a front array (110) of ground engaging formations having a first height or depth, and a rear array (120) of ground engaging formations having a second height or depth, the rear array of ground engaging formations generally located at a heel portion of the sole, wherein the first height or depth is greater than the second height or depth.
Traction cleat and receptacle
In traction cleat and receptacle system in a shoe outsole, unauthorized cleats are prevented from connection to a receptacle by a projection in the receptacle cavity and a recess in the cleat attachment stem for receiving the projection. A locking arrangement includes an annular array of twelve locking teeth on a boss surrounding the receptacle cavity, wherein every fourth tooth has a steeper side angle to in cooperate with mating cleat locking posts. A cylindrical shroud prevents the locking posts from damaging the outsole material during cleat rotation.

Athletic Cleat
An article of footwear includes an upper and a sole connected to the upper. The sole includes a plurality of cleat mounts. A plurality of cleats is releasably connected to the cleat mounts of the sole. Each of the plurality of cleats includes a mount coupling and a plurality of legs connected to the mount coupling. The mount coupling is configured to engage one of the plurality of cleat mounts and releasably connect the cleat to the sole. The plurality of legs includes at least one lateral leg having a first hardness and at least one medial leg having a second hardness, the first hardness greater than the second hardness.
Proprioceptive/kinesthetic apparatus and method
A footwear which includes a support member having an inner sole and an upper surface attachable to a foot, and two bulbous protuberances protruding from a lower surface of the support member on opposite sides of a latitudinal midline, is provided.

Asymmetric torsion plate and composite sole structure for article of footwear
A composite sole structure for an article of footwear includes a bottom component and an intermediate component. Each of the intermediate component and the bottom component includes a protruding portion that forms a concave contour on the top surface and a corresponding convex contour on the bottom surface of the component, where the protruding portion includes at least a first portion that forms a continuous trough at least from a medial side of the forefoot region, e.g., from a medial side of a toe split, to a lateral side of the heel region, e.g., a heel strike region. The bottom component further includes a variable thickness profile that forms a continuous ridge on the bottom surface, the ridge extending from the medial side of the forefoot region to the lateral side of the heel region, the ridge being substantially aligned with the first portion of the protruding portion of the intermediate component and the bottom component.

Article of footwear having an integrally formed auxetic structure
A sole structure that includes at least one auxetic structure and methods of making are disclosed. A sole structure includes a sole having an upper surface and a base surface. The base surface includes a ground contacting surface and a base surface. The base surface is closer to the upper surface than the ground contacting surface. An auxetic structure is integrally formed into the base surface.
