STRING TRIMMER HEAD AND SPOOL
A spool and a trimmer head. The trimmer head includes a housing defining a cavity and rotatable about an axis. A spool is supported in the cavity and operable to support line to be dispensed. The spool is movable along the axis relative to the housing, and the spool and the housing define cooperating conical surfaces to center the spool during movement of the spool toward and in a position relative to the housing.
Lawn mower mounted string trimmer attachment apparatus and method
A string trimmer attachment apparatus and method for easy attachment to a lawn mower deck, without requiring the use of tools for attachment, by having an adjustable trimmer mounting platform which securely attaches to the lawn mower. A string-type powered trimmer motor on the bottom side of the adjustable trimmer mounting platform cuts the grass. An operating control located on the lawn mower controls the string-type powered trimmer motor. A pair of L brackets allow the adjustable trimmer mounting platform to firmly attach to the lawn mower without the need for a separate trimmer/edger appliance. No tools or lawn mower modifications are required to attach the adjustable trimmer mounting platform to the mower deck.
POWER TOOL AND ACCESSORY MOUNT DEVICE
A power tool and an accessory mount device are provided. The device includes a driven member, a plate, and a flyweight comprising a first flyweight portion configured to translate along the first direction and contact the plate. The flyweight includes a second flyweight portion configured to translate along the second direction. The flyweight is positioned at a hinge between the first flyweight portion and the second flyweight portion and is configured to rotate along the hinge to push the first flyweight portion to the plate and translate the plate and the driven member along the first direction toward the first end when a rotational speed threshold about the first axis is exceeded.
Terrain riding side - mounted weed trimmer riding frame apparatus
The present invention relates to a multi component apparatus, allowing user to couple a weed trimmer easily to a zero turn riding lawn mower, for trimming weeds that the mower cannot access. Apparatus can be mounted to the frame or foot rest of mower, apparatus wheel castors allow trimmer to ride the terrain.
Grass trimmer
A grass trimmer includes a cutting head for mounting a cutting member, a drive head having a output shaft for driving the cutting head to rotate, and an anti-winding member for preventing the output shaft from being wound to by grass. The drive head includes a drive device to drive the output shaft and a head housing for accommodating the drive device. The output shaft connects to the cutting head and passes through the anti-winding member and the anti-winding member is mounted to the cutting head so as to rotate with the cutting head and is disposed between the cutting head and the head housing so as to fill the space between the cutting head and the head housing.
Weed trimming head assembly
A weed trimming head assembly includes a hub that has a plurality of arms each radiating outwardly between a central coupling and an outer ring. Each of the arms has a channel integrated into the arms and the channel extends between the central coupling and the outer ring. A plurality of trimming lines is provided and each of the trimming lines is slidably insertable into the channel in a respective one of the arms. Moreover, each of the trimming lines extends outwardly from the outer ring of the hub. In this way each of the trimming lines can trim grass when the hub is rotated by the weed trimmer.
VEGETATION CUTTING APPARATUS
The combination of: a cutting head configured to be coupled to a rotary drive to cause at least one cutting element on the cutting head to move in a cutting path; and a coupling system made up of a core and first and second adaptor assemblies. The first and second adaptor assemblies are interchangeably usable, one in place of the other, together with the first core, to allow coupling of the cutting head with different rotary drive configurations. With the cutting head coupled to a rotary drive using the first adaptor assembly together with the first core, a part of each of: i) the first core; and ii) the first adaptor assembly is engaged with the at least part of the cutting head, with at least one of: a) the first core; and b) the first adaptor assembly keyed directly to the at least part of the cutting head.
METHOD OF REFURBISHING A LANDSCAPE POWER TOOL
A method of refurbishing a handheld landscape power tool includes separating an original motor of the power tool from a tool head of the power tool. The tool head includes a tool shaft extending proximate to the original motor. A replacement power head and a shaft coupler are provided. The replacement power head includes a motor and a power shaft mechanically coupled to the motor. The shaft coupler includes a power shaft connecter coupled to a shaft-specific connecter. The replacement power head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the power shaft connecter to the power shaft of the replacement power head. The tool head is coupled to the shaft coupler by connecting the shaft-specific connecter to the tool shaft of the tool head.
Grass trimmer
A grass trimmer includes a trimming head, a driving device for driving the trimming head to rotate so as to cut vegetation and an operating device for a user to operate so as to control the driving device. The trimming head includes a spool and a line holding element, the spool is used to wind a trimming line, and the line holding element is formed with a line holding structure. The driving device includes a motor. The grass trimmer has an auto-winding mode. In the auto-winding mode, the motor drives at least one of the spool and the line holding element to make the spool and the line holding element rotate relatively so that the trimming line is wound on the spool automatically.
