WINDING MECHANISM FOR A STRING TRIMMER HEAD
A winding mechanism, a string trimmer head, and a method of winding line. The head may include a body, and a spool supported by the body, a line being supportable by the spool. The winding mechanism may include a crank engageable to rotate the spool to wind the line onto the spool. The trimmer head may include a bump knob engageable with the spool, and the crank may include a crank body engageable with the bump knob to rotate the spool. The crank may further include an arm connected to the crank body and a handle connected to the arm and engageable by a user to pivot the crank.
GRASS CUTTING HEAD AND GRASS TRIMMER USING THE SAME
A grass cutting head includes a spool for winding a grass cutting line, a head housing for accommodating the spool, a first guiding structure disposed at least partically in the head housing, and a second guiding structure formed on the spool. The first guiding structure guides the grass cutting line through the head housing when threading the grass cutting line. The second guiding structure guides the grass cutting line to move and be wound around the spool by relative motion created between the spool and the head housing. The head housing includes a first housing and a second housing. The first guiding structure is disposed at least partially in the first housing. The spool is disposed between the first housing and the second housing. The first housing or the second housing is provided with an outer threading hole for allowing the grass cutting line to pass in or out.
STRING TRIMMER HEAD AND SPOOL
A spool and a trimmer head. The trimmer head includes a housing defining a cavity and rotatable about an axis. A spool is supported in the cavity and operable to support line to be dispensed. The spool is movable along the axis relative to the housing, and the spool and the housing define cooperating conical surfaces to center the spool during movement of the spool toward and in a position relative to the housing.
GRASS TRIMMING HEAD AND GRASS TRIMMER HAVING THE SAME
A grass trimming head includes a housing assembly and a spool. The housing assembly is formed with a housing cavity and an outer aperture for allowing a cutting line to be inserted from an outside of the housing assembly into the housing cavity. At least a portion of the spool is arranged inside the housing cavity, and the spool is rotatable with respect to the housing assembly about a central axis. The spool is formed with an inner aperture for allowing the cutting line to be inserted into the spool or a clamping portion configured to fix the cutting line.
Blades, plugs and multi-tool connectors for use with rotary head assembly
Cutting blades are disclosed for use with a rotary trimmer head assembly with one or more swiveling blade receptacles, where the receptacle has a cylindrical body which defines a passage therethrough for a trimmer blade. The cutting blade preferably has a connecting end portion defining a blade mount aperture adapted to receive the swiveling blade receptacle. A male plug connection member is disposed within the blade mount aperture and preferably has bowed spring arms which are resiliently inwardly deformable, which are urged inwardly upon insertion into the female blade receptacle. The spring arms flex outwardly upon passage through the female receptacle. A multitool retention device is disclosed having a mount aperture end adapted to receive the receptacle and a tool retention end comprising at least one tool retention arm defining an elongated retention slot configured to slidingly receive and retain at least one tool member having a flange at one end of the tool member.
Spool for straight through line feed vegetation trimmer apparatus with modules and spokes
A trimmer head for use with either clockwise or counterclockwise trimmer heads, including the use of a bidirectionally dispensing spool. Various locations of passages straight through the trimmer head and spool are shown along with various locations of components of the ratcheting mechanism to allow for winding of the trimmer line on the trimmer head and for limiting the amount of line dispensed during “bumping” of the trimmer head knob on the ground. Additionally, an extended funnel into the passage can be provided to facilitate entrance of trimmer line into the funnel even when the line is not perfectly straight. Also, spokes can be used in place of the flanges of the spool to save material and cost, while still providing a guide and barrier between the line store areas.
Easy to load trimmer head with forced discharge
A trimmer head for a trimmer having a shaft defining a rotation axis is provided. The trimmer head includes a housing including a main housing and a lower cover, wherein the main housing contains a pair of opposed eyelets through which trimmer line is discharged. A spool is encased within the housing, with a bump knob connected thereto, and has a passageway with opposed ends and extending from one side of the spool to another, the opposed ends being alignable with the eyelets to receive the line. A first set of ramps is located on an inside surface of the main housing and a second set of ramps is located within a center barrel of the spool. The two sets of ramps interact to control the direction of releasing line from the trimmer head and forcing indexing of the spool when the bump knob is bumped.
Winding spool for a wire
Spool 1 for winding wire 2 comprising a hub 3, having a cylindrical external surface 4 extending around a main axis X-X, on which a channel 5 is afforded for guiding the wire 2 through the hub 3 terminating with a first hole 51 and a second hole 52. Three flanges 6,7,8 to define at least two chambers for winding the wire about the hub 3. Wherein the aforesaid hole 51 terminates with a respective terminal portion 9 made inside the cylindrical external surface 4.
Weed Eater String Holder
Embodiments disclose a utility model is related to a system that can provide complete formulation and solution for replacing the current disintegrated string with new string instantly. A device is proposed that holds spare weed eater string and attaches directly to the weed eater. Thus, allows weed eater operators to keep spare weed eater string in proximity of their weed eater in order to quickly replace empty weed eater spools. The assembly is designed to attach directly around the shaft of a typical weed eater and remain in place when the weed eater is and is not in use. Additionally, this invention may be used with straight, curved, gas powered, and cordless weed eaters. This innovative approach offers technically a feasible process able solution to obtain a solution in convenient manner.
Weed trimming head assembly
A weed trimming head assembly includes a hub that has a plurality of arms each radiating outwardly between a central coupling and an outer ring. Each of the arms has a channel integrated into the arms and the channel extends between the central coupling and the outer ring. A plurality of trimming lines is provided and each of the trimming lines is slidably insertable into the channel in a respective one of the arms. Moreover, each of the trimming lines extends outwardly from the outer ring of the hub. In this way each of the trimming lines can trim grass when the hub is rotated by the weed trimmer.
