Disclosed in embodiments of the present disclosure are a video page display method and apparatus, an electronic device and a computer-readable medium. A specific implementation of the method includes: displaying a video page, the video page including a video playback view and a dialog box, and a progress adjustment control being displayed in the dialog box, wherein the view hierarchy of the dialog box is higher than the view hierarchy of the video playback view and the remaining controls in the video page; and in response to detecting a first user operation on the progress adjustment control, adjusting the progress of a video currently being played back in the video page, and updating the progress displayed in the progress adjustment control. The described implementation achieves the reuse of a progress adjustment control between different pages.
LIVE STREAMING VIDEO INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER DEVICE
The present application discloses techniques of interacting with live videos. The techniques comprise obtaining a streaming video of a live streamer and images of a user captured in real time by a user terminal, and displaying the streaming video and the image of the user in a same video play box; obtaining and recognizing a first gesture of a user in the images of the user, and comparing the first gesture with a second gesture included in a preset table, wherein the preset table comprises information indicating corresponding relationships between gestures and special effects; obtaining a first special effect corresponding to the second gesture by querying the preset table when the first gesture matches with the second gesture; and displaying the first special effect in the video play box.
LIVE STREAMING VIDEO INTERACTION METHOD AND APPARATUS, AND COMPUTER DEVICE
The present application discloses techniques of interacting with live videos. The techniques comprise obtaining a streaming video of a live streamer and images of a user captured in real time by a user terminal, and displaying the streaming video and the image of the user in a same video play box; obtaining and recognizing a first gesture of a user in the images of the user, and comparing the first gesture with a second gesture included in a preset table, wherein the preset table comprises information indicating corresponding relationships between gestures and special effects; obtaining a first special effect corresponding to the second gesture by querying the preset table when the first gesture matches with the second gesture; and displaying the first special effect in the video play box.
Dynamic threshold calculation for video streaming
In some embodiments, a method receives an supplemental content placement and a context associated with a request for supplemental content to be displayed for the supplemental content placement. A first value is generated based on the context using a prediction network for a platform. The method determines probabilities for a plurality of types of request actions based on the context. Then, a threshold for the supplemental content placement is calculated based on the first value and the probabilities for the plurality of types of request actions. The method submits the threshold to a platform in a request for the platform to submit a second value for the supplemental content placement.
Content-modification system with feature for detecting and responding to a content modification by a tuner device
In one aspect, a method is performed by a computing system that is in communication with a content-presentation device, where the content-presentation device is scheduled to perform, at a modification start-time, a content-modification operation that comprises modifying a modifiable content-segment that the content-presentation device is scheduled to receive. The method includes determining that the content-presentation device has detected, within a predefined time period after the modification start-time and during performance of the content-modification operation, a mismatch between reference fingerprint data representing the modifiable content-segment and query fingerprint data representing content received by the content-presentation device from a tuner device connected to the content-presentation device. The method also includes determining that the mismatch is due to the tuner device having modified the modifiable content-segment before the modification start-time and, in response to determining that the mismatch is due to the tuner device having modified the modifiable content-segment before the modification start-time, performing an action.

Content recommendations using personas
Systems and methods for generating and displaying groupings of content recommendations using personas are provided. The system determines content for each of the plurality of personas. The determined content for each of the plurality of personas comprises content that shares a common genre or theme for each persona. The system populates each of the plurality of personas using the determined content for each of the plurality of personas. The system then causes display of at least some of the plurality of personas on a viewing device of a user. The at least some of the plurality of personas is selected for the user based on device data corresponding to the user, whereby the device data indicates user preferences and interactions with previous content.

The present disclosure describes techniques of synchronizing subtitles in live broadcast The disclosed techniques comprise obtaining a source signal and a simultaneous interpretation signal in a live broadcast; performing voice recognition on the simultaneous interpretation signal in real-time to obtain corresponding translation text; delaying the simultaneous interpretation signal to obtain a first delayed signal; delaying the source signal to obtain a second delayed signal; obtaining proofreading results of the first delayed signal and the corresponding translation text; determining proofread subtitles based on the proofreading results; and sending the proofread subtitles and the second delay signal to a live display interface.
