String trimmer lighting system and method of use
A string trimmer lighting system includes a string trimmer having a motor, a handle, an elongated shaft, a debris shield, and a trimmer head; and a lighting device having a light source enclosed within a housing, an elongated member, a clamp, and one or more enclosure fasteners; wherein the housing includes a lens, a power switch, and a power source; wherein the light source emits light through the lens; wherein the elongated member removably attaches the housing to the clamp; wherein the clamp removably receives the elongated shaft; wherein the one or more enclosure fasteners removably tighten the clamp around the elongated shaft.
TRIMMER HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM
A trimmer height adjustment mechanism (103) having a forward guard (105a); a forward spacer (112b); and an arm (109). Such trimmer height adjustment mechanism allows a string trimmer user to: (a) achieve a uniform, user-selected cutting height for groundcover; and (b) readily engage/disengage the height adjustment mechanism so that the user can change between a uniform height setting (e.g., while cutting even terrain) and an ordinary string trimmer operation (i.e., when a user is not concerned about the height of the groundcover being cut or wishes to cut as short a height as possible, e.g., while cutting grass around the base of a tree).
Projectile Trapping Device
A projectile trapping device for protecting objects from impact damage includes a shell, which defines an interior space. The shell has a front face, which is open. The shell can be positioned on a substantially horizontal surface between an object, such as a vehicle, a person, or glass, and a source of projectiles, such as a lawnmower, an edger, or a trimmer. The shell prevents projectiles propelled from the source from striking the object.
Grass trimmer
A grass trimmer includes a cutting head for mounting a cutting member, a drive head having a output shaft for driving the cutting head to rotate, and an anti-winding member for preventing the output shaft from being wound to by grass. The drive head includes a drive device to drive the output shaft and a head housing for accommodating the drive device. The output shaft connects to the cutting head and passes through the anti-winding member and the anti-winding member is mounted to the cutting head so as to rotate with the cutting head and is disposed between the cutting head and the head housing so as to fill the space between the cutting head and the head housing.
Shield and attachment for weed trimming
A removable shield for a string trimmer with trimmer head for cutting tall grass or weed is a flexible shield having a first end and a second end with a length extending therebetween; a removable shield closure for securing the first end of the shield to the second end; one or more fasteners configured for coupling the shield to the string trimmer at one or more locations on the shield. The shield forms a perimeter ring having a height and an interior space when the shield closure secures the first end of the shield to the second end of the shield and wherein when installed on the string trimmer, the trimmer head is within an interior space of the perimeter ring when the shield is installed on the trimmer head.
WHEEL ATTACHMENT FOR GARDEN TOOL
A wheel attachment for a garden tool comprises a guide wheel, and a wheel mounting frame on which the guide wheel is rollably mounted and which is detachably fixed to a guard of the garden tool. The wheel mounting frame comprises a fixing portion, which delimits a groove for accommodating an edge of the guard, and the edge of the guard is clamped by the fixing portion when the wheel mounting frame is fixed to the guard.
Integrated Trimmer for a Lawn Mower
The present application discloses an integrated trimmer device that is attached to the existing wheel fixture of a lawnmower. The integrated trimmer device may be used as a string trimmer or as a lawn edger. There is an ongoing desire by those in the art to increase the efficiency of mowing and trimming activities. Combining the two activities into one task helps provide for such need.
Anti-scalp attachment for a weed cutter
An anti-scalp attachment for a weed and grass trimmer preferably includes a tube clamp, a height adjustment tube, an elbow member and a ground support member. The tube clamp preferably includes a two piece tube clamp and a pivot member. The pivot member is preferably secured to a bottom of a first clamp member. The height adjustment tube is retained in the pivot member. The elbow member includes a horizontal leg and a vertical leg. The horizontal and vertical legs include a plurality of adjustment holes. The ground support member preferably includes a ground tube, a contact support member and a tapping projection. The contact support member is attached to a bottom of the ground tube at one end. The tapping projection preferably extends upward from a top of the ground tube. A horizontal adjustment hole is formed in an opposing end of the ground tube.
HEADS FOR STRING TRIMMERS AND MOWERS
A cutting head body for an agricultural machine, such as a mower or a trimmer, is configured to receive a cutting line for cutting weeds, grass, or other materials. The cutting head body includes an inlet area having a cavity with a node location configured to receive a node of a cutting line, and an outlet area having a cavity configured to open to an exterior of the cutting head body. The cutting head body may include a first passageway connecting the inlet area to the outlet area and a second passageway connecting the inlet area to the outlet area. The cutting head body is rotatable about a rotational axis to move the cutting line. In some embodiments, the cutting head body is fixed to a rotatable shaft. In some embodiments, the cutting head body rotates about a fixed shaft.
Working machine and method of braking driving device of working machine
A working machine according to one aspect of the present disclosure comprises an operating device, a working tool, a driving device, a braking device, a detection device, and a change device. The detection device detects a mode of an operation performed on the operating device. The change device changes a brake control to be performed by the braking device according to the mode detected by the detection device.
