The protrusion section includes a cut-out formed inside the protrusion section, the cut-out having a non-circular shape adapted to be securely engaged to a drive member of a motor.
Robotic work tool with hub-mounted skid plate
A robotic work tool system may include a robotic work tool. The robotic work tool may include a stationary hub and a rotatable shaft being supported by the hub. Also, a hub cover is releasably attached to the hub. The robotic work tool further includes a skid plate extending radially outwards from the hub cover and the skid plate is arranged between the hub and the hub cover.
String Trimmer
A string trimmer includes: a housing; a line container, configured to accommodate a trimmer line, and an end of the trimmer line extending out of the line container; a motor, configured to drive the line container to rotate to perform cutting work; a start switch, configured to generate a start signal according to an operation of a user, to control the motor to start or stop; a release mechanism, capable of selectively releasing the trimmer line, to increase the length of the trimmer line that has extended out of the line container; and a calculation unit, configured to respond to a release signal to calculate the usage and/or remainder of the trimmer line. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the calculation unit configured to calculate the usage and/or remainder of the trimmer line is disposed in the string trimmer. In this way, when currently the usable amount of the trimmer line in the string trimmer is relatively small, the user can be reminded to change the trimmer line in time, thereby reducing the waste of time and labor during use because the trimmer line is used up.
Balanced trim shield with a single, dual direction line cutting member
A hand-held cutting device (10) may include an elongated member (45) graspable along a portion thereof by an operator, a trimmer head (25) disposed at one end of the elongated member (45) and configured to be rotatable to perform a cutting function using trimmer line (70) held at a portion of the trimmer head (25), a power unit operably coupled to the trimmer head (25) to selectively cause rotation of the trimmer head, and a trim shield (65) disposed to extend away from the elongate member (45) to a position radially outward relative to the trimmer head (25) proximate to at least a portion of a path traced by a distal end of the trimmer line (70) when the trimmer head is rotated. The trim shield (65) may include a first housing portion (100) disposed on one side of a longitudinal centerline (120) of the device, a second housing portion (110) disposed on an opposite side of the longitudinal centerline (120) and substantially symmetrical relative to the first housing portion, a cutter mount (130) and a cutter member (140). The cutter mount (130) may be disposed at the longitudinal centerline (120) on an interior portion of the trim shield (65) proximate to an intersection of the first housing portion (100) and second housing portion (110). The cutting member (140) may be operably coupled to the cutter mount (130) with substantially equal portions of the cutting member (140) extending to respective opposing sides of the longitudinal centerline (120).
String trimmer with adjustable guard assembly
An adjustable guard assembly is connected to a head assembly of a string trimmer. The adjustable guard assembly includes a housing. The housing includes a mounting portion, which connects to a motor case. The housing further includes a deck portion, which extends from the mounting portion. The deck portion has a proximal end and a distal end. A first skirt member extends along and downward from the distal end of the deck portion in a generally radially outward direction. A first blade assembly includes a first blade member, provided in the interior of the first skirt member, to engage a rotating string member.
Ergonomic gripping mechanisms of an electric cutting apparatus
Ergonomic gripping mechanisms of battery-operated electric cutting apparatus are provided. The electric cutting apparatus may include a cantilevered cutting head, an adjustable telescoping shaft, a rear grip portion, a pistol grip, and a forearm shaft. The adjustable telescoping shaft may be pivotally connected to the cantilevered cutting head. The rear grip portion may have a first end connected to the adjustable telescoping shaft. The pistol grip may have a first end extending at a first angle from the second end of the rear grip portion. The forearm shaft may extend from the second end of the pistol grip at a second angle. The forearm shaft may have a top side comprising a forearm pad having an exterior surface configured to receive a forearm of a user. The exterior surface of the forearm pad may be parallel to an axis defined by a longitudinal extension of the adjustable telescoping shaft.
LAWN TRIMMER
A lawn trimmer (100) comprising: a powered cutting tool (112) comprising a motor operably coupled to a rotatable cutter holder (120), the rotatable cutter holder (120) being operably coupled to a cutting piece (122). The rotatable cutter holder (120) has a forward side and first and second lateral sides. A guard (116) is configured to extend substantially from the first lateral side to the second lateral side around the front side of the rotatable cutter holder (120). The guard (116) is configured to provide space for the cutting piece (122) to rotate freely within the guard (116) and is an apertured barrier that provides a protective buffer between the cutting piece (122) and a ground surface, thereby preventing engagement of the rotatable cutter holder (120) with the ground surface when the powered cutting tool (112) is translated over the ground surface.
FILAMENT CUTTING HEAD FOR A TRIMMER
A rotatingly drivable filament cutting head for a trimmer, having a basic body on which a cutting filament is held. The cutting filament extends from outside the basic body through an opening into an interior region of the filament cutting head open to the surrounding area. A stop is arranged on the filament cutting head, so that, in a first position of the cutting filament, the stop delimits a filament portion of the cutting filament, which is insertable into the interior region, to an insertion length. A deflection element is arranged in the interior region so that the cutting filament can be switched from its first position, without the cutting filament being longitudinally displaced, into a second position. The cutting filament abuts against the deflection element in its second position and the stop does not delimit the length of the filament portion which is insertable into the interior region.
