Methods and apparatus to verify and/or correct media lineup information are disclosed. Disclosed example apparatus include means for determining reference media, the means for determining reference media to identify a plurality of first signatures in a database that matches a plurality of second signatures included in media presentation data representative of media output by a media device in response to a mismatch between the media presentation data and reference data associated with first reference media corresponding to a first station, the plurality of second signatures generated from the media output by the media device; and determine second reference media corresponding to the plurality of first signatures; and means for storing the media presentation data.

Methods and apparatus to verify and/or correct media lineup information are disclosed. Systems and methods for searching, identifying, scoring, and providing access to companion media assets for a primary media asset are disclosed. In response to a request for companion content, metadata within a predefined time period of a play position when the request was made, is downloaded. A dynamic search template that contains search parameters based on the downloaded metadata is generated. In response to the search conducted using the search template, a plurality of companion media assets are identified and then verified. A trust score for the companion media asset is accessed. The trust score may be analyzed and modified based on its contextual relationship to the play position of the primary media asset. If the trust score is within a rating range, then a link to access the companion media asset, or a specific segment or play position within the companion media asset, is provided.

System, methods, and machine-readable media to facilitate adaptive content composite interaction with respect to digitally distributed content are disclosed. Discovery may be performed, and events specified for digital distribution may be detected. A particular endpoint identifier mapped to media devices may be detected. Events may be determined as a function of access specifications. Content objects corresponding to the events may be received from a remote system via a network. Content composites corresponding to mapping specifications may be created for each content object with selecting and configuring an adaptable content object with the content object to form a content composite to facilitate presentation of the content composite. The content composites may be used to facilitate an augmentation interface with a graphical layout of the content composites, each causing display of an interface element allowing selective communications to a process-performing system to configure an executable function in accordance with parameters.

The present invention relates to a standby mode control apparatus and method for saving power consumption of a wired/wireless terminal, such as a set-top box or an Internet of Things (IoT) device, by controlling the terminal on the basis of a terminal usage pattern and context information of the terminal, wherein the standby mode control apparatus may include an activation history information generator and a standby mode determiner, and according to the present invention, since a standby mode is controlled and set by predicting a terminal usage pattern of a user, it provides user convenience and saves power consumption during a standby period, and it provides more effectively save power consumption during the standby period through more accurate prediction using a usage probability calculated by analyzing context information.

The present technology can be applied to a device including a display.

Systems, apparatuses, methods, and one or more computer-readable media storing executable instructions for predicting trigger events, such as an advertisement during a video program, and activating a remote control device in response to the prediction are described. By activating the remote control device at a particular time, the remote control device may save energy when listening for data from one or more terminal devices. The time to activate the remote control may be based on one or more factors, including the current presentation position and/or presentation speed of the video program. A remote control device may take additional actions the next time it listens for data, including illuminating backlights, turning on a display, displaying content on the display, interacting with other devices, etc.

An electronic meeting tool and method for communicating arbitrary media content from users at a meeting comprises a node configuration means adapted to operate a display node of a communications network, the display node being coupled to a first display. The node configuration means is adapted to receive user selected arbitrary media content and to control display of the user selected arbitrary media content on the first display. A program is adapted to obtain user selected arbitrary media content, said program leaving a zero footprint on termination. The user may trigger transfer of said user selected arbitrary media content to said transmitter.

A method for resource allocation, a terminal, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes the following. A target application sends scene information to an operating system through a data channel established with the operating system, where the scene information is indicative of a running scene of the target application. The operating system acquires a target optimization configuration file corresponding to the scene information, where the target optimization configuration file contains optimization configuration information corresponding to different running time periods in the running scene, and the optimization configuration information is indicative of a manner for system resource allocation. The operating system acquires target optimization configuration information corresponding to a current running time period from the target optimization configuration file. The operating system allocates system resources to the target application according to the target optimization configuration information.

The present disclosure provides a method for processing a global key of a smart television, in the method, a system side intercepts a detected remote controller key event; when it is determined that the remote controller key event needs to be sent to an application in a broadcast form, the system side generates a broadcast message according to the remote controller key event, and broadcasts the broadcast message; the application preregistering broadcast in the application side receives the broadcast message; when the application which has received the broadcast message determines that the global key processing is needed, a global key processing is conducted according to the remote controller key event in the broadcast message. The present disclosure provides a system for processing a global key of a smart television. The present disclosure can realize the function of processing the global key in any application.
