In some embodiments, user interfaces capturing visual media (e.g., via a synthetic depth-of-field effect), playing back visual media (e.g., via a synthetic depth-of-field effect), editing visual media (e.g., that has a synthetic depth-of-field effect applied), and/or managing media capture.

LIGHTWEIGHT, MOBILE 3D FACE IMAGING SYSTEM FOR CLINICAL ENVIRONMENTS

A camera system for collecting image data in a clinical environment includes a camera configured to acquire color (RGB), near-infrared, and depth image data and a plurality of LED modules held proximate to the camera such that the LED modules are configured to illuminate a subject while image data is collected by the camera. The camera system also includes a microcontroller in electrical communication with the camera and the plurality of LED modules. The microcontroller is configured to actuate the plurality of LED modules and the camera such that the camera acquires the image data. A computing device is in electrical communication with the camera and the microcontroller.

Automated Spatial Indexing of Images to Video

A spatial indexing system receives a video that is a sequence of frames depicting an environment, such as a floor of a construction site, and performs a spatial indexing process to automatically identify the spatial locations at which each of the images were captured. The spatial indexing system also generates an immersive model of the environment and provides a visualization interface that allows a user to view each of the images at its corresponding location within the model.
